Why do you care so much about Arch Manning? It’s like you have taken a postion and you feel it will be some kind of personal failing if you change your position.
The most important NFL qb success driver is processing speed and brainpower. See Uncle Peyton as the prime example. He couldn't throw a dime on his best day and he played for years with his best days in his rearview mirror. Nobody has said it out loud yet but I think Ole arch isn't very bright and/or can't react evaluate and readjust to coverage quickly.The long almost TD pass Arch threw was a dime. First round pass. Eye popping. Totally agree on the first round commentary based on that play alone. But….
He has consistently poor footwork, mechanics and reads. He crumbles repeatedly in big moments. He is careless with the football. A lot. These parts show up way more on film than the highlight plays.
Despite this, he will get drafted in the first round by some GM who thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room. Some QB whisperer will fall in love with those traits. I think he will fail in the NFL.
I’m just more patient than most. Not my first rodeo. I think he’s a talented guy who will end up a good player. I think people are eager to jump on him because someone on TV said he’s generational.
Love D$ but he often has a compulsion to stick with an early evaluation even when the facts literally scream otherwise.

That is a fair position. But dealing with the nonsense on CIS isn’t worth it. IMO.
What's sad about that is TX will drop a few spots and turds will be back in top 25. Prob around 18. We'll have 9 SEC in top 25 like preseason. They'll just have shifted around some.
