I know some will say I’m wearing a tin foil hat, but...

I get the skepticism, but too many things add up. We were sold out by shallala and company. We chose to take a less for a salaried position instead of balling the **** out on straight commission......

I agree with him regarding two points. The ACC game officials and yes, a lot of Miami incoming recruits are highly OVERRATED! And believe it or not. Miami can be mediocre in football and still pull in the millions from the conference vis-a-vis television revunue and the NCAA cash cow and naturally Addidas.
Bingo. That’s one **** of a deal for the university. Just have Sebastian wiggle a little on the sidelines and cut to a couple of fans throwing up the U and Miami is still Miami, huh? And I hear people telling fellow Canes fans to “stop living in the past”, when our administration is totally content to do just that- live off of our past successes without even trying to be the least bit competitive. Leach is too eccentric. Butch left us once. Dan Mullen didn’t take his hat off, etc... instead, we get Shannon- an in-house DC from a failed regime, Al Golden- a historically mediocre HC from Temple, Mark Richt- a HC who had just been fired and who was completely burned the **** out, and Manny- an in-house DC from a failed regime.....and the cycle continues. Any other AD would have been thrown out on his or her ear by now! We haven’t conducted a real coaching search in almost 20 years!!!!! Let THAT **** sink in. Wtfup people, we’ve even had!!!!! The university sold us the **** out....

Our mediocrity is by design. I said it on grassy years ago and was met with, as I’m sure I’ll be met with now, considerable push back, as the subject threatens conventional wisdom and the like. But our “downfall”, I sincerely believe, is part of a larger, multi-billion dollar scheme to keep the product which is CFB, an exciting and competitive brand that will continue to produce unimaginable growth and success by stocking the SEC teams with top, south Florida talent. But in order for this to happen, a couple of things must happen.
1.) the NCAA must turn a blind eye to the bag game being played by certain schools and 2.) Miami can no longer be a major player on the CFB scene- period. This is being achieved via a deal being brokered between our university and the powers that be. We continue to hire unqualified coaches and prematurely extend them (how many times have we screamed (how in the **** do I know what’s wrong and how to fix it, but you don’t?!?! And you are making how ******* much to coach here?!?!” Think about it- how is it that EVERY SINGLE COACH WE’VE HAD SINCE BUTCH HAS BEEN LABLED “STUBBORN “?!?!?! We continue to buck the trend of running an offense (spread) that is conducive of the local talent here. This is not mere coincidence, folks, these people have been given a script to follow that intentionally makes us mediocre. Not to mention joining a weak *** conference that automatically pits two of Florida’s traditional powers against each other to ensure what we saw in the late 80’s and 90’s NEVER happens again, while we continually get ***D over by the refs each and every week with no complaints from our coaches?!?!- save for Richt and Shannon- the only two Canes that wouldn’t/couldn’t go with the program....
In return, the university attempts to shed the “thug U” moniker (yeah right🙄) while simultaneously whoring out our established brand to cash guaranteed checks from the ****** ACC and the NCAA.
Our school sold us out. Period. We will continue to pull overrated “star kids” (that’s right- the recruiting services are a part of this also) kids that we’re going to be Hurricanes regardless. They are given 4* s, but almost to a man, have a fatal flaw in their games. This is done to make it appear that we are stocked with talent and are still a desirable destination for top kids, but it too is smoke and mirrors. The kids with no flaws, the truly talented and correctly ranked 5* kids don’t go to Miami. Who wants to play for a mediocre team with a clown *** coaching staff? Sound familiar? And then we wonder why we have such a high blue chip ratio while looking like complete dog ****?
We’ve been had....

Sir, this is a Wendy's.

Before automatically making stupid jokes and rejecting what the OP is writing about ..... people need to just rationally think about what he wrote and seriously consider the possibility that he is right.

we have all talked and written for months and years about how the Miami admin are a bunch of clowns, morons, idiots, etc.

BUT ....

logically the only thing that makes any real sense is that hiring nothing but bad corches for over 15 years begins to sure look like it has been done on purpose and by design .... the Miami admin can't be that completely stupid,

just think about it ..........

Time for something different: a woman coach. Don't care if she's one of those thespians. She can even be a transitional ..heck, I don't care.

I wrote about the fact that really strange things have occurred at the U that can't all be just happen stance. With the level of talent that even the mediocre coaches have recruited its highly improbable that a team would be consistently inconsistent and incompentent as ours has been over the last 15 years. Of course the administration has sold us out. And we all can see it. They are not conspiring they are doing it right in the open. And thats not to say they dont want to win. But they want to win a certain way they disdain that swag the old U culture that would tear opponents heads off and just didn't care. The first few coaching hires you might give a pass to but Richt was fired for underachieving and Manny came from Richt's regime. It makes no sense if you are really trying to be successful over the long haul. And the OP is right 2 other things why does the University administration watches its team get ripped off by the refereeing year in and year out. And why do the coaches insist on having the players do what they are not good at rather than building esp offense around the talent that they recruit. If I didn't know any better I would suspect that the fix is in.

And those of you who laugh at the notion of the original post are EXACTLY the “fans” that make such a nefarious scheme work to perfection throughout 4 HC’ing regimes. Elites have ALWAYS hatched such schemes on the unsuspecting, moronic masses. They think we’re completely stupid....and judging by some of these retorts- they are obviously on to something 🙄. But for those of us whom are educated and have studied and understand history, my original post makes too much sense, and personally, I am, as you should be, offended that those in our administration think us to be so “thick”.

It’s ******* mind numbing. I’ve been a fan since 1990...I will remember the good times. But I have to admit... I feel cheated and I am angry. It’s like watching the Walking Dead or Game of Thrones. You invest YEARS of actual life into what were once great stories with excellent writing, only to barely be able to watch it down the stretch because it had gotten sooooo bad. I can’t catch a break....

The fact that we have been so bad in the admin that someone could even have ONE rational point about this speaks volumes as to why and how we got where we are

While the OP probably goes a little far with some of his theories, the administration did leave the Big East for the ACC in order to get a larger check from the conference each year. It was also more prestigious academically. The ACC is controlled by the schools on Tobacco Road. We always get terrible officiating calls against us in those games. That is fact. It's not some wild conspiracy theory.

I'm starting to think we might do better in the SEC as we could play the bag game in a big way & get protected by Emmert & company (by being part of the sacred cash cow of CFB with the huge TV contract). While the schedule would be tougher, we would at least have teams loaded with Miami caliber players.

The ACC has really elevated our basketball program but has been a killer for football. It's prestigious for academics. I never thought I'd say this but I'd rather be part of the SEC at this point (so we can clearly compete on the national stage).

ever wonder why the truly talented kids we DO get....you know... those kids that were going to the U regardless?.....ever wonder why how “magically “ they all of a sudden get “dumb” as soon as they step on campus?!?!🤨 they juuuust can’t seem to pick up on our “complex” system?🙄 you know...the same complex system that is lay people call out the same dumb *** plays before we run them?!?!!!! But I digress. Yet they can go to Tuscaloosa or Gainesville or Baton Rouge, and suddenly, they pick up more complex, productive systems and ball the **** out😑😑😑. Put the pieces together, man and wake the **** up!!!!!!!

5* athlete in our backyard...”the U doesn’t show love”. We **** on the kid because surely he is lying? Why on earth would the U not “show love” to one of our top products?!?!? “**** this kid, he is just a diva”, or “**** this kid- he is just playing the bag game”... is what ultimately is spewed by the fans on social media. The kids, their parents, their handlers, etc. ALL read the toxic bull**** and it helps nudge the top kids into the waiting arms of whatever SEC awaits them. That’s why we call each other “trolls” and the like because there are those who ARE sent here to post **** about these kids😠 it’s by design, folks.
How about we look at this from the perspective that those kids WERE telling the truth? Maybe we weren’t really going after those kids as aggressively as you would think? Put the pieces together, folks. We’ve been HAD.

I’m NOT allowing other bull**** threads to bury the TRUTH! Wtf is the point of arguing about Dan ducking Enos’ offense....or Manny’s press conference?!?! It’s all “wag the dog”....

I also want to point out your assertion that “we want to win in a certain way....with a certain type of kid...”. You are SPOT ON! We aren’t even recruiting savages any longer. The savages we DO get fall into our lap by accident now? This **** needs to be exposed!
