Its simple. The team with the best O-Line won tonight - and they were the two best in the nation.
The thing you have to notice was the same thing in High School; there is never a shortage of great skill players, but having an O-line to compliment them is what makes the difference.
Clemson did not let their young QB get rattled tonight, because their O-line picked up all the blitzes. And they ran the ball very effectively.
Against LSU, our O-Line couldn't pick up a blitz to save our lives. When you have shaky QB play, that's a recipe for failure

Not the way those clowns played tonight! One thing we will find out is that stars mean crap if you can’t coach them up!
If Diaz can get his offense to mirror the defense we can play with anybody. I will take SFL leftovers coach them up like JJ and Butch did. They didn’t chase stars. Get the 3 star SFL athletes coach them up to play like 4 and 5 stars! That was Miami’s bread and butter during our Championship days!

Happens to everyone. FSU (jimbo ran off), UF (Meyer retired), OSU trowards the end of the tresses era.
Looking at Bama vs Clemson. You see the difference in culture. You can see Bama has a pro style culture. Frequent Coaching turnover, frequent roster turn over. Kids really don’t get to stay around long there. I mean Bama has signed nothing less than the 2nd best recruting class for the last 5 years. Why would they ever need to play multiple freshmen DBs?

We are what we were ranked at the end of this season. 7-6 record has us ranked 37th in country. Homers badly need a reality check.
