It has ALWAYS been a given in sports that a coach that does not meet the win expectations will be fired- until the current Miami Admin at least. Unlike some here believe, fans do have rights converse to positive support, to voice their opinions in opposition to existing leadership. Harbaugh shouldn't have to tell our Golden supporters that! Basically all college HC coaches that are fired, is because they "didn't" meet the win/recruiting expectations of Admin and "FANS"! See Mack Brown. See Muschamp, Chizik, Kiffin (USC) and our Ol' Friend Bobby Bowden.
