We are not even in the top 20 for toughest schedules so far.


WVU, TCU, OU, Miss State, Auburn, Bama, USCe, UGA, Arkansas etc. have all had harder schedules so far.

The fact WVU isn't in their top ten hardest schedules makes the 'NCAA Method' lose credibility

Right, I don't think we have the 2nd hardest schedule, just don't want to completely discredit the teams we lost to. Louisville, Nebraska and GT are 17-5, that's not bad. Better teams then us lose to worse teams then those 3 every Saturday.

Do you watch college football?

WVU has gone against three top 5 teams. Their 3rd strongest opponent is better than anyone we've play this year and it's not close. Their 4th best opponent is very comparable to GT and Louisville and could probably beat both of them.

If you believe one of the teams I've listed has had an easier schedule than us than this argument is pointless because you're trolling.

GT lost to a UNC team that allowed 70 points by ECU.

Our strongest opponent Nebraska barely beat Mcnesse state (at home) that plays in the Southland conference.

They also had the ball driving for the go ahead TD on the road against Michigan State in a game where Abdullah was shut down. So which one means more?

Probably be favored in the rest of their games besides on the road at Wisconsin. Good shot at 10 wins if not 11 in the regular season.

It happens. in 2011 K-State beats E. Kentucky by a field goal at home. Wins 10 games in the regular season and winds up in the Cotton Bowl. Judging teams by what they do against lower division teams they think they can roll their helmets out and beat will get you into trouble.

Whichever way you look at the focus of my point is the same. We are not in the top twenty for hardest schedules this year.

Also Mich State DOMINATED that game till the fourth quarter.

Agreed. Michigan St. simply quit in the 4th quarter given the lead they had. The score definitely doesn't describe how one-sided that game was.
 
For the record I'm not defending golden, clearly we are far better then those 3 teams. Just wanna throw that out there lol
 
All this strength of schedule **** is subjective nonsense. Watch the games. That's the best way to tell which teams are good and bad. Anyone claiming our SOS is 2nd is retarded.

It's been a mediocre schedule, and, most importantly, the teams that beat us don't recruit at the same level we do. If you sign better players you need to beat teams that don't. It's really that simple.

GT is an awesome team aren't they? After kicking our *** up and down the field thoroughly all night they've lost to two horrible teams and didn't look anything like they did when they walked up and down the field on us.
 
Al uses The OP numbers as meaningless stat of the week in the Va Tech post game presser. Along with mentioning the Hindenburg made it all the way to New Jersey.

I think the ncaa method is strictly your opponents wins and losses. Not very accurate. For example, under this method Alabama (6-1) and Duke (6-1) are equal strength opponents because they have the same record.

Careful what you ask for. The NCAAF's methodology on anything can be bad for the brain. Do you have a shrink or a good counselor?
