I believe that Manny is gone and wont be back next year but I dont understand the point in telling him but not making it public. or dismissing him. Does that mean UM still has to pay a higher buyout or would it still be lower because the firing wont be official till January?
 
He's gone. Amazing how certain people want to talk Manny staying into existence. It's almost like some just want to be miserable. Firing Manny and eating millions, just to appear like we are doing something is stupid. The ONLY reason Miami fired Golden early was because it got very toxic thanks to the Clemson loss. Manny hasn't had that moment, and it's unlikely that he will have it against Duke. He will go out like Coker did: Fired right after the regular season ends. I doubt Manny is interested in coaching the bowl game post firing.

He lost to a TERRIBLE FSU team and lost the Coastal title. AGAIN! He also lost to terrible UVA and UNC teams! He was never qualified to be here in the first place and the one guy who thought he was just got fired!

What makes you think we win a bowl? Is it because of all the bowl games we have won recently that makes you think that way?

Unbelievable isn't it.It's as if these dudes didn't watch last night's game.As explosive as Tvd was if VT gets the call on the 4th down play on our 30 they likely win the game.

I’m telling u and I have no inside info. Manny is done. Reason being is the AD who hired him is gone the new guy will come in and fire him. And I’m also sure an AD would say before he took the job that he can fire and pick his head football coach

I agree with you OP. The admin is going to wait till everyone else hires somebody, then they're gonna say "well, there's no one available as good as Diaz, so we stick with Diaz.". Good instincts OP
