I don't believe Manny's firing is a lock

Addressing the OP in a reasonable manner:

What marquee win, as the head coach, has Manny Diaz accomplished? A blown up FSU team that Jimbo Fisher left bare?

This year, what teams of high caliber has Manny Diaz been competitive with?

Who assumed personal responsibility of running the defense this year, who has given up record numbers against marginal opponents?

In any power 5 school with a pulse, especially after the Athletic Director has been fired who hired you; can you possibly expect to remain employed?

The AD hire will tell us all we need to know. If it's anyone worth a ****, Manny Diaz will be gone.

I tend to agree with this sentiment. Had Diaz won out convincingly, maybe he wouldve had friends in the bot.

He has few friends now.

Let me tell you something man...It’s been said repeatedly that CIS posters are delusional and are out of touch with reality. Now, I enjoy this site a lot and love all the commentary, jokes, insight and such but imma tell y’all like this...You mutha****as are smoking straight up CRACK if you think Miami fired BJ, is putting 30 more mill into the football program annually, and ALLEGEDLY hired Tom Jurich and Zo in a combo position to do what? Keep Manny “ I can’t recruit, develop, or see talent on the bench” Diaz geek *** as the coach?! GTFOH. Please close this stupid **** down already. It’s over.

If a new AD is not hired this week and Manny has not been fired by a week from tomorrow, this could be true (as much as it scares me to say it).

What the **** does this mean? If they don't hire an AD next week they'll give up and re-hire Blake? What are you even suggesting?

The poster was asking could Manny keep his job for next year? I'm just saying that if the new AD isn't hired soon and Manny isn't fired by the Monday after Saturday's game, I would get a bit nervous that that might happen.

I'm sure Manny hasn't been fired yet because they want the new AD to do the firing of Manny and hiring of the new coach. There are now 14 jobs officially open. If the new AD isn't in place by the end of this week, there may not be a decent replacement available by the end of the first week of December.

Blake is gone and deservedly so.
