I don’t care (Jarren time)

Rick feels if Jarren looks as bad as Malik and Kosi then perhaps someone will finally begin questioning his play calling abilities..

If he plays Jarren now, he doesnt get to use the “wait till Jarren plays” excuse in the offseason.

Thats his last remaining card to play to deflect blame from his incompetence.
And if Jarren plays now and does well, Richt looks bad because he's been playing trash ahead of him.

This is proof that it's a no-win situation for him according to some of our "fans". It's crazy how much you guys hate this man.

Its crazy how much you hate the program in order to prop up a coach.

Jarren coming in now and playing anything other than amazing exposes Richt even more as the fraud he is. Why would he want to do that?

He needs to play. Enough is enough. We don’t know what we have until he plays real games.

In terms of skill set in practice, he’s the best by a mile and anybody not wearing a whistle sees it.
Agreed D. It’s just time.

Where did I "prop him up"? Stop making up fake arguments. You're the one who is clearly overjoyed that we lost yesterday.

How would Jarren playing "anything other than amazing" be a bad thing for Richt? He's a true freshman. And that's the opposite of what the other guy was saying.

I'm not convinced Tom Brady would do well with his play calling, it's been worse than Golden era the past two games, that's hard to say. It's Jarren's turn let him play, he needs the reps for next year.

Can you confirm if he received more reps in practice last week like CMR alluded to?

So you’re telling me Willie Taggart also knows how good Jarren is too.

I'd say potentially having one scholarship QB on the roster is the downside.

Have to roll the dice...Oh well...This is on the Richt's if we are left with only 1 Scholly QB next season. They should have locked someone up for this class, and they should be bringing in a grad transfer as well.

Yeah I guess, as much as Dabo’s to blame for all the Clemson QB’s transferring when they brought in Lawrence and then named him the starter. It’s just the nature of CFB now. It’ll be tough to bring in a guy for a year knowing he’s going to sit on the bench too. There’ll be a lot of prayers for Jarren’s health.

If Jarren Williams throws 47 INTs next week.

Start him. Let him play.

What the **** would it possibly hurt? You don’t think he can throw a pass and have Langham bail him out AGAIN? Or stand there and watch Deejay Dallas make a play?

Perry blew it himself **** him too.

Run the ******* Wildcat. Run it up the middle with Tyrone Gray every ******* play....for the love of god just move on from the Richt/Rosier disaster.

Agree brother. He’s given everyone else a shot - why not give it to jarren? Might as well start playing for the spring.

With N’Kosi, I never hyped his practice performance. I thought he would start before he even got here just because Rosier and Shireffs were so bad. Once he got here, he was erratic.

As for Scaife, he will be a good player.

I’ve overhyped enough guys. I don’t need to take another hit on those two, LOL.

Knowing that this offensive system is trash. Why are we out on N’kosi already? He’s only played a few games. That’s not enough games to just write him off.

But to the point -- if Jarren plays and balls out, he may be our only scholarship QB during spring camp.
That's a good problem to have. Means Jarren is legit and we just need to find a backup.

As opposed to now, not knowing if we have a single guy that can do squat.

Agree Jaren's the best, and yes he needs real game experience, but that experience should have started at the start of the season on the road against LSU. I knew we were in trouble when Richt started his whole "true freshman" narrative before the season started. Dabo played Trevor at Texas A&M early in the season. That was made out to be a big game for Clemson and indeed it was close. Dabo created a small package of plays for Trevor. He showed trust in Trevor then, and Trevor is rewarding him with stellar play now. Now Trevor feels bigger than these little acc match ups because he's played meaningful minutes in a big game on the road. Richt blew his opportunity and our offense sucks because he is not wired to be successful at the level we want to be successful. Richt is a protective mother in a man's game. Think of this, none of our five star players from last year's cycle has a meaningful play against a meaningful opponent this year. Mark Pope is a blur and has zero receptions. Zero. Because their low productivity we have posters here who question Lo and Pope.

So here's the thing, Canes need to understand Jarren can not be our savior playing in Richt's offense and with Richt calling plays. Now that the locker room is Antietam and the fans are rightfully toxic, putting Jarren in would be unfair to Jarren. If Jarren struggles, and he is going to struggle in an offense that literally uses 1st down like a throw-away down, they are going to eviscerate him, but no QB is going to be successful in Richt's offense with him calling the plays. At this point, let Richt keep his out of touch, career-50% passer who has lost five consecutive starts, against fair to meddling teams as his starter. In fact, keep him and his son and Rosier away from our future starting QB.

Jarren, Campbell, Frierson, Cleveland Reed, Nesta, Pope, and Hall all need to receive more playing time immediately. Even 5-15 snaps per game (for everyone not named Jarren) can go a long way for their confidence heading into spring
