I can't find a scenario where we DON'T win the Coastal

They may have 2 losses but have the tie breaker on us. There are plenty of reasons why Miami might not win the coastal it’s far from a forgone conclusion. Injuries etc… could derail the whole season. 1 week at a time is what matters now

We will lose a conference game that we're favored going in. Injuries will happen..
 
UVA will be very tough IMO, great QB on the road, based on our defense vs BCC, a high caliber running QB will pose significant issues...time will tell

But, I knew it wasn't hydro because the thread title is a complete sentence and not cut off halfway and continued into the body of his message in a transparent attempt to get people to click his thread.
 
Easy. We do what we’ve done every year (except once) since 2004. Underperform and lose a game we shouldn’t.

We’re definitely the favorites, but it isn’t in the bag. Now, if we manhandle UNC, that’ll send a big message to everyone else.

The one scenario is that this team isn’t nearly as good as it should be. So if we don’t, blame that on whoever you want. Previous staff, current staff, players, admin, whoever.

The Coastal is next level bad this year. Nobody got better.

with a 55% blue chip roster, the best QB in the ACC and maybe the nation, and much better coaching, i doubt we "****" away any games this year but it could be possible. Based on roster alone we should only lose to TAMU and Clempson but again we have the better QB in both cases by FAR so let's see what happens
 
Steele will figure out the personnel on defense. There’s enough talent to be competent. Clemson will either have a true freshman, or Ukulele at QB. The freshman is their only hope, but even with him, they don’t have a difference maker at RB. WR’s are nullified if the QB sucks.
