and interview vets and new players...

interview someone from the actual athletic department who could talk about finances of the programs
 
The only value Pete brought was recruiting info, and team news info. The rest is completely made up… lmao chemstry/badcop/whatever… it’s all made up. Being a dumbass talking bad about Cam Ward cause you don’t know football isn’t good lmao… calling it being bad cop is ******* stupid…

Yes but it would be even more interesting to review the worst -- ie, Middle Tennessee State in 2022. What really happened there? Warring assistant coaches?

Pete had run his course. AR is new and will get better. One piece of advice for him is much shorter answers to questions or responses to comments. D$ can get a little long winded too so they should bring in a coach.

Well that was in the middle of the TVD implosion so that was a big part of it. But we also kept getting beat over the top by a backup 5'11" freshman QB and some no name P4 WRs. They were beating guys now in the NFL. There's no rational way to explain it. Guys just weren't taking football seriously it seems like. That MTSU team had a good year, for them, but also got blown out by the likes of JMU, UTSA, UAB, WKU, and LaTech that year. It was as inexplicable as the loss to FIU a few years before. Yea we sucked, but not bad enough we should have lost to that team.
 
Tough in these streets. Pete seems happy doing his own thing and growing his own brand.

AR is able to give us insight that most will never have. Articulating those thoughts live on-air is tough. Trust me, I know from experience.

I've counted myself saying "you know" or some such nonsense tons of times on a live pod, where during typical life I am not using nearly as many fillers.

Finding your footing is difficult. When to go, when to cede space, when to be brief or get into the weeds.

The last time I spoke with AR in person he was teaching me about leverage on choice routes and why he liked one recruit over another and it was clear he knows his stuff.

Give him time and grace if you can find it in your heart to do so. He will be great.
 
I would rather listen to a former player and young legend like AR82 vs some autistic goofball who tries to create some intentional lame heel persona anyday. Anyone who grew up during the Attitude era can see right thru Pete's antics.
