- LSU will lose in Dallas and then rebound. They’ll threaten top-20 maybe even top-15. This helps Miami.
- Auburn definitely will finish a top-25 team, probably top-15 or better
- Georgia...should be top-3 (begrudgingly) … preseason.
- I have MI winning their first game of the season; Shea Patterson can get their offense moving … they’re top-15.
- if SC beats UGA, which I believe will happen … the east is up for grabs
- UF … they’ll be better than the board thinks. They’ improve their win total from last season.
- TX … ranked about right.
I agree Auburn and Michigan should be good.

If Michigan underperforms then harbaugh needs to be on the hot seat. Defense is loaded, including best secondary in the nation (per Phil Steele). That b1g east is tough tho.

Interesting where Athlon’s has our WR, DB, and DL groupings ranked. First off they’re saying LSU is at #7 DB group wise while Miami is at #14. Same with WR’s with Clemson and NCSU having the better wideout groups for 2018. The only group we’re ranked in the Top 10 nationally is at the LB spot. They have us going 11-2 again and I assume winning our NY6 bowl game as they have us going 1 better in 2018 than last season.

As to the AP25, I think the U is ranked where we should be given the talent we are beginning to stockpile at the key skilled positions. It will all come down to how Malik plays and the DL on how far we go and how many victories we end up with for the year. I’m thinking 12-1, with the loss again in the ACCCG but winning our bowl game. Who knows, with that record, we could even make the CFP this season. Florida is a 8-4 team at best, the same too for FSU. Georgia will lose 2 games this year missing out on the SECCG to South Carolina who will have more depth than UGA this year. Michigan will rebound and will beat tOSU in 2018; especially with Liar on his way out the front door for the Suckeyes. I think Washington is one of the surprise CFP teams this year, and that Texas finally gets it together and wins the B12, with OU finishing 3rd behind TCU. And lastly, could this be the season Baga doesn’t even make their SEC title game AND the CFP?
