Glad to see you’re good to go brother! I’m just getting home. I actually left Thursday morning and drove up to Louisville as it hit and got back just in time for the power to come back tonight@Confidence1000 @JHallCanes how did my SC brothers hold up? We’re slowing get power back in Greenville County, my community got very fortunate only losing power for about 12 hours but I know other areas got smacked!
Good stuff! Yeah every gas station here in Greenville is packed at 6am. Not sure if you saw the photos of Asheville and other surrounding areas, but Chimney Rock is gone, some of these towns are completely under water.Glad to see you’re good to go brother! Drove through Tennessee on the way back and man those poor people got it bad
Still have the jack wagons blocking miles of traffic here for gasoline though
Put it like this. It took until today to see even the condensed highlights from VaTech.@Ashevegas Cane how are you and yours with the flooding in your area?
It is unfathomable what is going on in your corner of the world. Glad you are alive and hopefully well, and hope the same of your loved ones.Put it like this. It took until today to see even the condensed highlights from VaTech.
**** is real bad in this and surrounding counties. We got 10-12" of rain the 35 BEFORE Helene's bytch *** even arrived. Highest flood level ever recorded.
Thanks for asking.

I lived in New Orleans during Katrina. These stories are harrowing in a similar way.Note: Several of you have asked about my property, no power or water but it is thankfully ok, but most of my friends and neighbors are not ok; just received this text from a friend that lives outside of Boone.
We found out yesterday why we don’t have power and people around us do. Don went into town to talk to someone at Blue Ridge electric and they said there are three electric phases. Phase 3 is the main line which has been focused on first. If you are phase 1 or 2, sometimes you can get electricity if there is no damage when they turn phase 3 on. If you haven’t gotten electricity, the gentleman told us that there is probably damage to the line. He was uncertain as to how long it would take, anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks longer.the death toll is incorrect, they had recovered over 200 bodies the other day just in Avery county alone. And there are >1500 people on unaccounted for in Asheville alone. We went to the laundromat this morning, it is absolutely crazy there. People sharing stories about what they have seen is so sad. I guess you saw in the news where this hurricane has the most deaths since Katrina in the last 50 yrs. And they have a long way to go for areas like Trade, Newland, Meatcamp and very rural areas. Very scary
Ugh...turn north you *******.
