Hurricane BLACK.... Black helmets arrived at the Hecht

Stick with the White Helmet permanently. You can change the uniform all you want but that classic piece of headgear should never be touched.

Here's to hoping those alternate helmets will be viewed as temporary failed experiments and discontinued after this season.

I don't know how much the helmets cost, but I imagine they weren't free.

No way we give up on these.

Actually if I recall correctly that was a screen capture of the helmet on a coaches desk from the ESPN All Access clip they did on the U that aired recently. I'll have to check my DVR to see if I can spot it.
 
Does it really matter if we wear a different helmet for some games? The Classic white will NEVER go anywhere. Some of you act like the Classic helmet will never be worn again.
 
If the kids/young men wanna wear black helmets, let em! All I care about is them winning the games.

Tight got caught in the return of Folden's Faqqots. Unfortunately, he started posting right around the time those faqqots came out of hiding. They whined incessantly. He got banned.
 
I am happy to hear all you guys care about is winning. Something they haven't done much of the past decade.
 
Smoke helmets, black pants, green cleats and white matte jerseys is what we're wearing for the rest of this century if you people don't shut the **** up

Ok. All I said was stay tuned based off of what I know from being in the Hecht myself. I didn't say that anything was going to happen with the helmets. There are plenty of things that I was told to keep to myself while on campus.

I am not doubting you were privy to things while your time at the Hecht; in fact, I am positive you have better information than anyone else on this board as you had unprecedented access.

I thought you were alluding to a "black" helmet change which is the conversation that was going on in the thread. Which is why I responded what I did. Either way, I wish your son and your family all the best.

When we were all in the midst of uni hype prior to the jersey unveiling, didn't someone claim we could only have so many helmets because there literally wasn't enough storage available for them? I remember this because people were offering up their garages or to fund the rental of a storage locker at U-Haul.

Let Tight be. The kid is battling demons. He's in an intensive rehab program. His mom caught him with his whole head dunked in a gallon of deck stain. Prayers.
