Hurlie Brown

Putting in serious work. He had a major role in landing Bethel, Quarterman, McCloud and Pinckney.

He is the one guy I'd like to keep from the defensive staff.

Wasn't he the only one in the recruiting video going head to head with D'No? WANT. Keep Hurlie.

Hurlie has also served a role in community outreach, coordinating recruit visits, etc.

Watching that video again makes me absolutely disgusted. Richt should've fired that clown No'D as soon as he was hired. Anybody know what safety they're even talking about in that video?

I have no ax to grind with Hurlie whatsoever, but wake me up when one of our coaches goes out of state and gets a top 50 recruit out of a good schools back yard, not a legacy that everyone has expected to rep the U since he was 15 from off highway 1.

If he wasn't a former cane, the results of the team while he is on staff and the comments about winning 8 games and making a bowl being a great season as the new reality would get him absolutely torched by this fanbase.

This guy.

Colby Reeder, Salesianum , Outside Linebacker

As much as it was nice to see one person with a pulse push back against such a non-UM caliber recruit, it was even more alarming for supposedly great recruiter James Coley to compare that guy to Deon Bush coming out of high school. Completely f***ing clueless.

I keep saying Hurlie, KB, and Scott should be retained in some way.

200% agree....... same guys i would keep as well.... the only way i would keep coley is if he is no longer the offensive coordinator..... play calling sucked ****...... with cmr calling plays i think he should bring in a guy like ken dorsey who he can groom into a OC

Coach NoDick, paul williams, randy melvin, kareem brown, andreu swasey, art kehoe all need to go....... tim "ice" harris is another guy i might keep in some official role not as a position coach...... he is highl connected with local recruits

kevin beard --- wr
larry scott --- rb
hurlie brown --- some official role --- recruiting based
tim "ice" harris --- some official role --- recruiting based
jorge baez --- on campus recruiting coordinator
te --- hearing john lilly might be coming with cmr
dl --- hearing tracy rocker might be coming with cmr

bring in new guys for --- OC, DC, DB, LB, OL

QB coach --- cmr and i think his son gonna come with him too i had read somewhere (john richt with buffalo bills)

F***ing Amazing offer list. I'm surprised Monmouth University or Dartmouth College haven't offer yet.

I love Hurlie as a recruiter and appreciate his love of UM. It almost touched me when he cried when Folden told him that he had the job at UM.

But I've heard some interviews where he comes across as a total Goldenized loser. I don't need guys who think 9 wins is a great season and something to be cherished. The Folden stink with this staff might be too strong to justify keeping anyone. But I wouldn't hate seeing this guy kept around in some capacity.

Ringz knows lol it was talked about in the wez

8 wins is now great at the university of Miami.

No thanks. Hurlie can kick rocks.

WTF does that even?

It means, quite obviously, that if there's a member of the staff that you don't want burned at the stake, you think 8 wins is an awesome accomplishment. Please try to keep up.

Your logic is retarded. So its hard to keep up.

So I guess your saying that anyone who has ever been on a staff that didn't win more than 8 games is crap.

Should I start a list to prove how horribly FN pathetic that logic is? Do we really need to do this?

Miami is about recruiting and Richt knows this and so does every other professional opinion.

You keep you major recruiters in some fashion or you don't understand Miami football.

I have a serious question. Are you guys aware of coaches at other schools speaking differently? When top programs have 9 win seasons, what do the coaches say about it? Don't they say a bunch of positive BS?

I ask because I feel like I almost never hear a coach say anything about losing that sounds true to me.
