He's keeping the boys on their toes. No one is safe.

He's setting a precedent, and he knows the team has heard how much better constructed and deep this team is but, you shouldn't have to rely on a TFr player to come in and plug in a hole.

You should be comfortable going into the off season with your team and not recruiting to make up for holes on the team you already have, you bring in players to compete and grow with the constructed team you have. That means you didn't win the last game of the year and another team is better then yours.

Seems a bit dramatic. Looking at our roster and freshman… I feel like we in pretty decent shape looking at the future. Our biggest question right now is WR… which has been one of our stronger positions recruiting. I think they probably need a conversation about what’s up with Jojo, Ny, and Chance. Just bad evals? Cause those are 3 high level recruits and none seem really ready. If even one was it would change our trajectory a bit this year.

But it does feel like we shouldn’t have to rely as much on the portal next year. It would be awesome if Nickel looks competent so we could spend Beck’s money on hs recruiting and not stop gap QB.

The nature of competition, drives innovation…. And cheating, and backstabbing. Look at what happened to Teddy, and that’s H.S.

It's unfixable right now in today's day and age. Making a playoff helps slightly… But between NIL and being in the ACC, top 7 to 8 is about as good as we can expect. There are a hand-full of teams that can go higher than us when needed and many that can compete due to our ACC tax.

True story. One Canes fan at another website did an computer simulation of the Canes-Bama opener using the rosters from that year and the Canes won in a blowout.

Just goes to show you; never trust anyone using online simulations as predictive indicators of game outcome.

What’s he supposed to say? The roster is perfect? There is no such thing, and even if there were, you wouldn’t say it is as a coach.
