She is an alleged rape victim from Liberty University upset with Freeze because he defended the AD, Ian McCaw (of Baylor scandal fame).

While I'm certainly not blaming a victim (or alleged), her rants do.come across as "less than believable".

This is unfortunate because if she truly is a victim of sexual assualt at Liberty, her outputs on the topic diminish her tragedy.

Correct. Many women have been sexually assaulted in the church by church clergy. That’s a fact. But none of them were assaulted by Hugh Freeze (another fact).

This hire is contentious...

Having lived in Georgia for 10 years, I have a lot of friends who are diehard Auburn fans.

I'm surprised by how absolutely disgusted by this hire some of them are. I'm not sure how much of the fanbase they represent and it's probably less than half, but the absolute disgust is what's surprising to me.. not a "I don't like it, but I'll wait and see" type disagreement. But more "this is deplorable and I can't believe the school would sink this low" type anger.

We'll see how it plays out but Hugh Freeze might be as polarizing for Auburn as Donald Trump has been for America.
