How would you guys feel

(From the merged thread) How would you feel if Mario left for LSU

  • Upset (I think he should continue at UM)

  • Happy (I’ll pack his bags & drive him to the aeropuerto)

Nobody should hate Mario. They can take issue with his Mongoloid ways but his love of school, tireless effort & overall loyalty makes him palatable.

As for replacements, we can’t exactly do better.
 
Mario is a great coach. People are just reactive. But In his time at Miami he has produced

- Am elite offense (last year)
-An elite defense (this year)
- Elite special teams (Borregales)

Which shows he’s capable of all three.

We just need him to hit on all three in the same year. This year’s team is **** close. It’ll happen for us eventually if Mario keeps grinding.

You seem personally offended by this. Are you also a meathead?

I think he’s called meathead because his solution is usually just “try harder” and he doesn’t provide a tactical advantage.

I like the recruiting and I appreciate his passion for Miami
I hate his stubbornness and lack of adaptability
He has no strategic vision and neeeds to surround himself w SMART people and let em cook

We need him to be able to manage game day
And we need him to figure out how to get tea ready week in week out!!!
You would think he could pick Sabans brain weekly

That’s exactly why I coined him meathead
He has no strategic vision
He makes every game harder than it needs to be
He doesn’t understand all the advantages and leverage them accordingly
He refuses Toronto to create more opportunities for his team to stretch leads over inferior acc competition

It’s stupid **** like all the above that results in him being a big dumb meathead

If, IF...we win the next two, that's back to back 10 win seasons. That's something that hasn't happened in over 20 years :sick::sick::sick:. Yes, Mario does some dumb **** but this program is in better shape than it's been in close to a quarter century. This was not a turn key operation.

Anybody want to go back to a clappy? How about Randy? Folden and Dorito? Richt at the end of the line? Or the current Duke head coach? Yeah, the hires over our long misery have been that bad. I'll stick with what we got until the program trajectory either levels off or dips.

I too think it would be hilarious.

His second loss as a double digit favorite to Kentucky/Arkansas/MS St removing him from SEC title contention would be some of the best "tears" reading material.
