How would you guys feel

(From the merged thread) How would you feel if Mario left for LSU

  • Upset (I think he should continue at UM)

  • Happy (I’ll pack his bags & drive him to the aeropuerto)

He’s not the best we could do, but he’s the best we would do

Team building/talent acquisition and I would also say he’s an elite coach at building a program for sustainable success.

Yet to be seen but if we can finish off this season strong, it’d be the first time in 20 years that we’ve won double digit games. That’s a significant accomplishment no matter how you slice it
Dear friend, I just think me and you have different definitions or expectations of the word elite. Year 4 and the TE, LB and QB rooms are null and void. Mario Cristobal made demands of Miami before he even a step foot here and those demands were met, giving him more money and resources than any other Miami head coach and probably combined.

And the best your program builder can do is 15-14 and ACC play

Y would his name come up in LSU’s opening?
Why wouldn't it?

Sought after names come up all the time whether they are at their "dream job" or not -- Riley, Freeman, Dillingham, Kiffin, etc. come up -- in the past we would bring up guys like Gundy, Chris Peterson and others who "were not going anywhere".

Mario is not even on the comedy radar

He is called meat head because of low football IQ. If he didn't consistently get outclassed on gamedays that moniker wouldn't exist. Noone calls Brent Key or Andy Reid meathead.

Add Dan Campbell to that list. Unbelievable that the man is calling plays - didn’t know he had that in his bag

Between that and his name not coming up for any of the openings even though he bailed on Miami for greener pastures before.

But that seemed to involve position upgrades...I don't think he would leave Miami for essentially a lateral move like he did Oregon. You can argue he left Miami for a lateral move when he left to work for Saban, but if you have a choice between working for Saban or Golden, I think that move is self explanatory.

****ed...the potential of a late game clock management battle between Franklin and Mario is so ******* great, we can't be robbed of it.

He’s not leaving for a job no one is calling about
