How we feeling about SMU matchup?

Point Spread predictions - is Vegas going to place us a favorite in this game? I can’t see it.

i think every game but this one at SMU. because of the similarities in coaches. Our coaches coach their own philosophy and core beliefs. Other coaches coach and scheme to take away your strengths, exploit weaknesses, and create favorable matchups for certain players. We do none of that. Brohm does, Rhett does, Brent Key at GA tech does, Cignetti does…
 
Dawson has been exposed as not being some offensive ball genius. He will get out-coardinated (analogue of "coarched") doing the same things he's been doing.

Beck is another story. Not sure which one plans to come out to play but he's turning out to be an overpaid headcase. I never push my chips all on this guy. Thought he was sus and had some proving to do.

We can either regroup, enjoy the quieting rat poison and "rebegin" a winning tradition or the season can go off the rails like Penn State' after Oregon. Hope they have the maturity to figure their **** out and get back to bidness.

It’ll be loss #2. Even with Jennings hobbled, they’ll still beat the breaks off of Wario. He is our biggest liability on gameday. Until his preferred run schemes change and the stubbornness by Dawson to run on 1st down for 3 yards and a cloud of dust, we will not beat a great team.

from the night we beat UF and then lined up to play Louisville- was basically one game in like 26 days. Definitely lost the edge we had. and brohm. we’ll see what this program is when SMU rolls around. period.

I don't doubt that LV is talented. I do think that we are incredibly susceptible to being out leveraged because it's easy to predict our play calls. SMU and Cuse also have offense minded coaches that don't have only 6 plays in them. Their defense can be middle of the road and we'll hold ourselves to below 30 points either way. This is less about those teams defensive capabilities and more about our inability to score enough to keep up.

That has nothing to do with the spread. We will be the favorite in the game because we are the better team. Smu hasn’t beat a team with a winning record this year

SMU doesn’t do well against physical teams. Lashlee doesn’t do well against physical teams. I like us, barring an appearance from Carson Van Dyke or Jacarson Harris
