Mario Cristobal continues to rewrite the recruiting rules.

The Canes went into New Iberia, Louisiana- an area dominated by LSU- and beat out the Tigers for CB Jaboree Antoine. The 6’1, 170-pound Antoine is the 2nd-ranked player in Louisiana, the 8th-ranked CB in the nation and the 71st overall player.



Antoine, who was previously committed to LSU, also plays QB and competes in the 300M hurdles, long jump and triple jump.



Antoine is the 19th commitment of the 2025 class...

Added three new laws based on @Rellyrell previously guidance on Mater Dei recruits

41. High 4*/5* Mater Dei recruits are west coast mercenaries and will never commit/play for UM until we're a powerhouse again.
42. High 4*/5* Mater Dei recruits will commit to USCw if they stay in state so long as USCw doesn't stink.
43. If high 4*/5* Mater Dei recruits leave CA they will only leave for an established powerhouse.

Supposedly an Arizona, Colorado battle; but, I’ll dig up more info from my lil homie who’ll play them this season.

Just understand, it’s incredibly hard to pull Mater Dei kids, & I’ve explained y before. The likelihood of a 3-stripe school pulling a highly ranked Mater Dei kid is slim to none. In fact, I can’t recall any blue chip Mater Dei kid attending a 3-stripe school in the past 10 yrs.

They have an OT that's highly ranked is currently committed to Washington. Hes a top 40ish player across the board. Will be the exception to the rule if he signs
