.... just want the best players playing. X didn't do a thing at the time I've said that. I love X he was more then solid and a great wr but may not even make a NFL team, watch what baby Jesus does in the role and if X was on the team right now baby Jesus would be playing over him too

The ******* irony of saying this while neither Ray Ray nor Toney have done a mf thing is incredible.
 
Apathetic, inept admin's. Larry Coker, Randy Shannon, Al Golden, end of the line Mark Richt and Manny Diaz. Poor evals. (even of highly rated recruits), and development. By-and-large, just a non-serious program. Even with that, if memory serves, runner-up in the Coastal and hand full of times. And then with the #1 pick and top offense in the country, the DC awarded a raise before the season completely ****es the bed. Mind numbing..

It’s been a long time since anyone has had success doing it that way outside of a an outlier Michigan team that literally just got hammered by the NCAA for cheating. Alabama, UGA ans LSU abandoned that style a long time ago. OSU has been a spread offense team since Urban Meyer got there. It’s just stupid to purposely handcuff your offense when the rules have all m changed to make doing everything on offense easier.

If you have the personnel to line up and run over people with two or three right ends, it’s the coaches job to do it. If you have the personnel to run something else, it’s the coaches job to do so. You run the offense that best suits your personnel.

There’s a reason military academies run the triple or some version of it. There’s a reason smaller schools do the same or run a true air raid.

Toney may very well go on to be greatest receiver in college football history. I certainly hope he does.

What he has now is nothing more than potential*. What X has is nothing more than proven outstanding performance and sustained excellence in college football.

There is a huge difference between the two.

The answer is we weren't a serious football program.

The only serious football coach we hired post-Butch was way too late in his career.

Josh Pate did a show on conference and playoff projection s last night. While he claims he remains a Canes believer and Mario Cristobal fan, he projects. Clemson to play Ga Tech in the ACC championship with Clemson the winner
 
Coaching malpractice. It’s that simple. While our rosters have all had flaws, there have been many years where we’ve had enough talent to win this pathetic conference. Including last season.
