About that Houston ICU hospital bed panic
Normal (common, everyday) ICU occupancy is 1,462 beds (Texas Medical Centers, Houston).
ICU bed capacity is below normal, as of yesterday.
As of yesterday TMC ICU occupancy was 1,166.
Nowhere near their maximum surge capacity of over 2,600.
Facts, yo.
I’ve got a $1,000 they never reach their capacity. Any takers?

You’re conflating two issues. I’m just saying the right to assemble is a right across the board. If you think one is more important than the other, cool. I don’t even disagree (with the peaceful protest) but the government has no right to tell me where to place my importance. My life / choice.

The lockdown is over and no one cares anymore. You can’t lock people in their homes, destroy businesses, and keep people from getting regular health care screenings and then just decide they aren’t important anymore. Jews got arrested for holding funerals, but a random guy can have thousands at his including the politicians who made you stay inside?
