There’s more than physical talent required to be an elite QB.

The only physical trait above that translate to a passer is big arm. That’s very telling, especially when you say he has the highest ceiling of any QB when he’s the least refined and has the lowest throwing ceiling of the bunch. His footwork when passing is not good. His pocket awareness isn’t there yet. He has a lot to work on.

It took Jordan Travis an entire career to be a credible QB for anything more than running. If it takes Jacurri that long, you’ll be punting on the next several seasons waiting for him to be ready. I’m not opposed to getting him snaps but to blindly start him “just because” doesn’t make sense.

Can we please see KB18 knocking the DE/OLB all day? That alone could give us a chance for at least 1 TD and 4 FGs

Are you sure Ponce isn't doing the ruining? Why has he gotten a pass when he's the QB coach? None of our QBs seem to be able to identify defenses correctly. That's on Ponce.

How hard is it to scheme some guys open for the kid to gain confidence etc. how about a screen pass or two, some bubbles, a shovel pass, or chuck some down the field for Gods sakes. Gattis acted like he never taught the kid a frigging pass play. He should have been able to run a portion of the pass offense, ****, run the same 5 plays from different formations…at least he’ll know what’s going on.

Please tell me you're joking. Don't get me wrong the kids has all the physical tools to be great but he just isn't a good passer. I mean he's terrible. Can that be fixed? I think it can but by then it could be too late.

We don’t know. But I am laying initial and primary blame on the guy in charge of the offense before an underling.

Man short hopped a 5 yard hitch. Let's hold our horses. Gattis' would have to super simply the throws, which means we become even more predictable. That's crazy to think about because the teams already know what's coming

Do you recall who the OC is? I can assure you that as soon as Jacurri gets into ANY kind of rhythm that Gattis will pull him to put in Jake and stall the drive. That seems to be the "feel" that Gattis has for the game. Remember ... he played SAFETY in college ... his skill set is shutting down offensive attacks ... even if they are his own.
