He’s talented but hasn’t had a banner year and is splitting carries with DJ.
I would guess he’d be drafted in the late rounds. Not sure why he’d stay, given the OL awfulness and the risk of injury.
So he’s gone, right?

I dont know if he has the wiggle they like seeing in the league. Hes a tough north-south runner tho. Me too, he should stay and continue to put on size he'll need for the league. For his running style, I'm not sure his body will hold up. I'd love to see him play thru a season around 220 instead of just start a season around that size

1). I have always been exponentially higher on Homer than Dallas, both as a college player and pro prospect.

2). Running backs have a shorter shelf life than most athletes, Frank Gore's deal with the devil aside. lol. So I fully expect Homer to leave after this season.

3). I see him being a day one draft pick. He'll run a sub 4.4 forty at the UM pro day and will have plenty of film of him both running hard and showing breakaway speed. In short, he runs the way NFL GM's like.

If I had to guess today, I'd say late 2nd round, 3rd at the latest.

If Richt doesn't give the guy a fighting chance, then why stay and take another year of playing with one arm tied behind your back with the way the plays are called, sorry coaching on the OL, and no life breath into the program with the walking dead coaching on the sideline!

RB is the single worst position to draft guys at. Every weekend you see 20+ guys that all look and run exactly alike.

Whatever you are smoking send it my way. Get the **** out of here with that 2nd or 3rd round bull****. He’s 6th round at the absolute earliest and I’m being generous.

Not sure if serious....

Has no business leaving along with the other juniors on this team but they don’t care anymore. You’ve seen many guys not only at Miami make the mistake of leaving early and it’s bit them in the ***.

@Mklein13

Im totally serious. Homer runs bigger than his size and has run multiple sub. 4.4 forty's. He has not shown any propensity to fumble. The only knock will be on his vision but I've been friends with an NFL exec who is in charge of drafting/signing free agents. Measurables are like crack to those guys.

One man's opinion.

.

There is absolutely no way that Homer is drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round.

LOL....you probably also thought walton norton and Mcintosh would go first day too......There are 10 better running backs in college(thats only including draft eligible) that are better than Homer. He is inconsistent with no vision. he will be in the league for a few years cause of his special teams, able to pick up blitzes and tough SOB.

He’s had problems holding onto the ball if you’ve watched games since 2016. No frickin chance he goes where you are saying but you are entitled to your own opinion so I’m gonna respect it even tho I think you are way off.
