Hodges Commits

He’s a long rangy corner/athlete, I wouldn’t worry to much about the 40 time at the opening none of us witnessed it, kid could have been sick, hurt something, coming back from injury, who knows. Let’s see what senior film looks like. It’s a non binding commitment either way. No need to stress, we will strike out on some but questioning our D players isn’t something I’ll waste my time doing or at least until the D sucks for a year

I dont give a damyum, when you got 28 pass breakups, that's somebody who knows football and diagnose plays at a high level, ill take em, its guys like this who make plays, coach rumph knows balla's when he see's them. Ill take a guy that understands football at a high level and makes plays and sacrifice a lil speed, than to have a guy with top level testing speed, but makes no significant plays, and is just an escort service to the endzone, call dean associates for more information!

Dennis, George, Pouncey, Lawrence (Unless he’s a S)? Is Branch, Francois, and Washington all strikers? I’m confused as **** what the staff wants to do at db and striker. Help a brother out lol.
Well Im pretty sure Francois is being recruited to play Safety. Branch and Washington are strikers, and both have a higher chance to decommit, which is probably why they took both of their commits early. Think that they plan to take 3 CBs. Hodges is the first and Dennis, George, Pouncey, Lawrence will be targeted for the other 2 spots. They have one more spot for S, which is probably between Avantae, Tennison, hopefully Restrepo.

Man y'all gotta get off this combine bullsh!t. It's the first thing y'all talk about when we recruit a kid. Y'all act like some fake a$$ Mel Kipers on here. Nobody pays attention to those combine numbers except y'all. Not a single college coach I ever met asks about a kid's combine numbers.

I've had a kid run 4.7 at a combine but then clock a 4.47 his freshman year of college.

Evaluate the film.
P5 schools ain't offering CB's who run 4.8 on film.

3 corners seems to be the plan.

I think Hodges is the project corner for this staff that they seem to take every year. Bethel, Couch, and Hodges all are players that require some development that this defensive staff has brought on in consecutive years. I think the common denominator is that all of them have been undersized but they all bring a unique athleticism to the table that Rumph is willing to make a long term investment in.

Couch is going to play right away
