Want nothing to do with Ward as a DC after how badly his unit flamed out these past couple years. They ranked 93rd and 96th in total defense the last two years. Would be an unacceptable hire.

As a position coach? Meh. Hope we can do better. Would be an enormous and immediate reg flag if he's the DC or even a co-DC.

As a DB coach he'd be an above average hire. But Corey Raymond is better.

Ward as DC is a failure and a red flag.

I think he'd be a **** of a DB coach hire personally. Not as good as Raymond maybe but better than, say, Martinez.

Would rather have Corey Raymond as the DC than him, if it's a position coach than that wouldn't be a bad hire. He can recruit with the best of them and kids love him. He can coach but I don't want him running the canes defense
