The media has completely brainwashed the public on this subject, running with percentages that don't account for asymptomatic cases. Healthy 17 year olds have virtually no mortality risk here. In Texas 9 kids between the ages of 10-18 have died with (with - not OF - another huge distinction the media does not consider) Covid-19 - 6 of them had comorbidities. This is insanity. Millions of kids are losing some of the best moments of their lives and they deserve more from their adults than this political bull****.

It's frustrating to see people say they want to keep the kids safe. Like you said, the mortality rates are so low. They are comparable to current factors like suicide/vehicular/cardiac. Unfortunately for the kids, many older coaches don't feel safe. Coaches advocate for no play instead of removing themselves for a season or taking a different role in the program.

People are so misinformed/unable to understand circumstances. Moreover, people want the dopamine hits from taking the view that grants the most social affirmation.
 
In Georgia we have been and are still preparing to play this FALL season in spite of many school districts doing virtual only. Of course this could change anytime. If ACC and SEC stay strong, I think we will play. If they opt out, they'll probably shut us down at HS level.

It’s not about kids dying from this disease! It’s about community spread! And some kids probably will have health issues related to this disease! Playing a sport where spit and saliva is projected constantly probably isn’t the safest place to be during a airborne pandemic! I love football as much as anybody but for Gods Sake there are more important things happening in the world than a **** Game!
 
Are high schools even open? Not gonna have high school football if you don’t even have high school.

I roll to my left and put my left foot down slowly to feel for the dog so I do not step on him. I then adjust my morning wood, stretch and yawn and continue to the french doors to let the dogs out. While I do this I hope for my wood to go down so it is easier to take a ****. I can continue if you like, but long story short, wonder no more.
