Flipping through the channels I came across a recruiting show on FoxSports. They had an " under the radar " recruits this year . Herndon was one of the five guys they mentioned .

The fat guy on the show thought a lot of him.

Btw , Mia is coming up later in show.

They just discussed Mia class and had high praise. Newberg was very impressed.

Both said Chad flirted with Ala / Fsu but he's staying put , Newberg said " that dude isn't going anywhere".They think he's a monster ( no ****)

Compared Yearby to Barry Sanders and Warrick Dunn
Best Ol class in America
Coley found Kayaa, great eye, first big school to offer
Really good players at every position
Valentine is one guy we need back lol
Galliard and Ross visited/visiting ( we knew that)

Smooth sailing now that NCAA crap is over

Now if only some of the people on this site would see things like those guys. Too much negativity for my liking
 
You know I compared Yearby to Barry Sanders and I thought to myself, maybe I was just looking through a pair of orange and green glasses.

That's not crazy. I always thought he resembled Shady McCoy.

I like the Warrick Dunn comparison that Newberg used.

Barry was small in stature, but was incredibly strong in his lower half and had a really stocky build. Yearby is a lot more similar to Warrick Dunn or the guy I've compared to...Thurman Thomas

I think the comparison was about their styles, JY has insane wiggle/shake, like Barry. That's where I get shady, both have good not great top end but could shake a db in a phone booth .

Do you see him more like Warrick from a playing stand point or a production standpoint? I ask that as being someone who was down in flordia to witness Warrick and in Pa to witness Shady, and I can see both in Yearby.
 
Herndon is definitely my sleeper pick in this class. Barely ever gets talked about at all, but he has some nice tools to work with.

6'4, 230 and he has enough speed to get behind Nagel Patten. Hopefully Coley is able to utilize him, along with our TEs more in the future. He can be a weapon for us.

Lol... Shady, Dunn, or Sanders... You know what? I think I'll be okay with either one of those beasts. If that's the case were gonna be juuuust fine

Norcross is also a perennial powerhouse from what I know so definitely good to keep our foot in the door there. Herndon seems like a really solid player, I like the pickup a lot. Anyone know if UGA recruited him?

They probably did, but another higher ranked TE maybe fell on their board and they lost interest. UGA cant keep them all either. They are the only team in the state and GT sure as **** does not have first pick of the litter. GT did win for Calvin Johnson, the only time EVER lol
 
I was at the BTW v Norcross game, Herndon didn't do much but he certainly looks the part.
