Herman is the next superstar coach.

He should've been given whatever he wanted to come here. I'm very happy with Richt, but Herman was the best option and I said that the minute Golden was fired.

Herman will be a great coach whether he stays at Houston or moves on. The man can flat out coach. And if he stays at Houston, yes they will be similar to Miami. Lots of talent in that area.

He wasn't gonna leave Houston no matter what we threw at him but he would have been a grand slam hire.

I love Richt as a hire, I'm not knocking it at all. But Herman is shaping up to be a great coach given his small sample size.

Having said that, he's going in dry and LOLklahoma.

Even if Miami hired Herman we would not have been able to keep him when texas / auburn / LSU / usc come calling with lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Richt is going here for good

I'm down voted for telling the truth? Ok.

Richt is a great person, motivator, recruiter, father, etc. but just a good coach. That's not to say that I'm not happy with him as our coach because I am.

He has won more in his first 15 years as all but 4 coaches ever. He is great. He could be elite .

Herman was and is an interesting choice. However, he runs a offense centered on a running QB, like Urban. You might like that but it like Al's 3-4 is NOT Miami DNA. Mark brings back a Miami style offense for a Miami QB. Also, while more aggressive, Herman is running a 3-4 -- haven't we had enough of that(again we will search for the NT we need and never get it. His attitude I will take all day long.

Herman has said he runs what his talent dictate.

All you f'ing clowns get this:

HE DID NOT WANT TO BE A CANE.

Apparently the Miami job wasn't good enough for him.

So, guess what? FŪCK HIM. Dead to me. I hope he gets the Zika.

We've got a Hall of Fame coach that is a proven winner over time.
