Here's what I know

One of these days you’ll man up, and you’ll learn to take your L’s like a man.

It’s okay to be wrong. Everyone is human. You come off as a narcissistic prick when you try to ridicule others while constantly being wrong.

I’ll give you an example:

I wasn’t on team TVD to begin with. I thought that Garcia was the better QB though spring and fall. After TVD’s first couple of full starts, I was concerned and said that I didn’t see it. @RedSquare stuck by his guns, and he was 100% right on.

On another thread, I manned up and told him that I was wrong about TVD about 3 weeks ago. I’m glad that I was wrong. Kid is doing great things, and he’s just a FR.

You could learn a thing or two about humility.

I've been wrong more often than a broken clock. .... so it's nice to finally get one right. :haha-smiley:

For anyone who thinks that background checks shouldnt take long:

When the Indianapolis Colts had the 1st pick in the 1998 NFL Draft, they had to pick between Peyton Manning and Ryan Leaf. We all know what Peyton turned into and we all know what Leaf turned into. However, at that point in time, it was not clear at all. Both guys had identical scores and test measurements. Only thing that made people believe in Leaf more than Manning was Leafs cannon of an arm that Manning didnt have.

The Colts made a last second evaluation of both in terms of on-field-production. They reviewed tapes deep into the night on a throw by throw basis, all the way down to how the QBs compare in terms of throwing routes.

The Colts, at the end of it, decided to go with Manning due to a psychological test they did. Manning was the more stable personality, while Leaf... wasnt. They found out, all the way in High School, that Leaf was considered an arrogant person, overly emotional, who clashed with his teammates on a pretty regular basis.

It took them months to get all of the information.

Good thing they've been working on this for months already then.

Lashlee leaving would all but end the “keep Manny” circle jerk out there. He would have to replace both an OC and himself as DC? It’s a wrap on that (even though it was before this)
He would probably have to promote from inside the program. MAYBE he could get a nice G5 OC to come show off his stuff. But DC, working under Manny.. no way.

Yeah, no one wants to work for a lame duck HC. We would probably see Likens promoted as OC and T-Rob as DC. Moot point though. Manny is done.

If Manny didn't **** the bed this year I bet he'd have promoted Likens to OC, it was widely known that Lashlee was gone after this season anyway.
