I think you absolutely have to pair him with an OC that is a QB whisperer or he'll never be a true consistent playoff contender here.

This is Miami, all of you should know Jurichs past is the hold up. There’s older Bot members concerned about that and other issues that happened on his watch while at UL. That’s the same reason some folks have doubts about Miami hiring Lane. There’s members that worry about the image of the program and are nervous about hiring anyone with some checkered pasts. The other group wants Jurich, most of those pushing for him are the same ones taking the program to the next level. That should tell you what group is pushing for the same ole typical hire.

Which is what we need to start doing anyways. The rest of the country closed the gap on South Florida in regards to football talent years ago. Don’t get me wrong , we are still a factory but you need to also look elsewhere for bluechippers and overall talent.

He’d recruit south Florida immensely better. He’d better out relations with the private schools. And recruiting is relationship based and he just has more than Manny. Mirabal has shown his worth as well. I’d take Bobby Williams over Fields and Patke.

Legit question. If it were up to you, who would you hire for AD/Coach?

Yea I hear you, but that was almost what 25 years ago? Game feels a lil different.. Much more of qb driven/success type game.. Back then you could run conservative scheme, if your qb sucks, nueter him into game manager, play championship level defense, play field position, and win alot of games..

Guy like Saban who perfected that strategy better than anybody won actual championships with it maybe even less than 10 years ago has adapted to the new rules of the game. You need to score, you need an explosive offense, you need a really good qb.. We FINALLLLLLLLY went spread and found a qb after being dam near last pro style bro offense in america.. We were last to party and look how much more fun and exciting the games are with TVD.. That **** would just start to pay dividends this offseason with build up for new college stars going into next year and help recruit more superstar offensive talent..

If we lose Lashlee (he isnt elite but coming from dark age pro style bro offense, he is for us) , we need someone who can provide results and know we have offense talent in good hands.. tying Mario to butch from quarter century ago doesnt give warm and fuzzies when game is different..
 
Sounds like the Columbus Illuminati have taken over the university to the point they're only willing to hire an AD with ties, a football czar with ties and HC with ties. Doesn't even sound like they're considering a second candidate. ******* mistake.

These men are all successful as fvck and they're not even going to look at a second HC option? They would interview multiple custodial companies to clean their offices. This is how you overlook better candidates.

Exactly. If the higher ups demand this basically, and it blows up, would they have the wherewithal to admit it and make the move. I lean to the side of no. Excuses would be made and it could be the same circus with a different ring leader. Mario will make us better, but by how much is the question. Need to know who he brings with him before I crown him.
