How would people feel about the following scenario:

—Manure gets canned after 2020 (yes, I know....not soon enough)

— Arizona fires Kingsbury next year for another below average season.

— We hire Kingsbury if he promises to bring in an elite DC.

Are we ****** at that point?

Throw him the entire bank. He strikes me as a guy who would love to live in a place like Miami.

He checks all the boxes:

— Monster recruiter

— Young and ambitious

— Cutting edge offense

— Quarterback guru

He would just need to promise to hand total defensive autonomy over to an elite, experienced DC, because that’s the only thing that worries me about him.

Texas Tech is not an easy place to win at. Texas A&M and Texas take all the local talent and you’re left picking up the scraps. But if you pair him with an elite DC and give him Miami talent, then we’re going to make waves.

Jimmy Johnson wasn’t winning a lot of games at Oklahoma State before we hired him, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t a good coach.

Best case after Diaz would be whoever is a top 10 coach in the nation at that time..not a up and coming coach

Apparently you can do even worse than Mike Leach at Texas Tech and still be the flavor of the week on this board.

So if he has never won as a head coach.............

Why would anybody want Kingsbury as a HC???

Do you ****ers pay attention to anything that goes on in college football?

He NEVER won 9 games im his entire career, he finished 35-40 at TTech, the ONLY reason he got hired by the Cardinals is because the NFL was swept up in Sean McVay mania & was hiring any coach that remotely looked like him or ever stood next to him before, that's it.

Dude never won sh*t in his career, he's a glorified OC, he would fail miserably at Miami as a HC.
A miserable fail? In that case, I expect him to be the next coach.

Maybe, but he’s a better option than a lot of the other loser corches people are suggesting around here. Wario? I mean...give me a break.

How about Belichick retires and then wants to take on Saban. So beli comes to Miami. Pretty cool.

Again, why? What does he have on his resume other than scoring some points in the Big 12 while losing a lot of games?
Tough to argue with you. I’m just so sick of watching our offense score 17 points a game that I would be willing to take the risk.
