Herbie and Galloway not convinced?

ESPN loves to drive different narratives on purpose… everyone has been sucking us off so no shocker they have some one parrot “need to see more”…. “Didn’t pass the eye test for me”… “we all know their history the past 20 years”

Rinse and repeat… **** em

He said nothing wrong. He even made an excuse for the unimaginative play calling. But he was spot on. Offense played to not lose the game.

Flip side of that...we knew we could run the ball, chew clock, get out of there with no injuries and not losing the ball game. I want to be unhappy about watching a 90s football game, but a win is a win and no injuries.

But it wasn't entertaining at all to watch on offense.

I don’t understand how anyone could be upset at any skepticism even if this team is currently 4-0. If any other team beat a 1-2 Notre Dame, a 1-3 Florida team, and then USF, most of CIS would call them overrated or downplay them.
Couldn’t have planned a tougher schedule through 4 games in the pre-season. Not our fault ND and UF aren’t that good.

ND was the defending runner up and the national media spent all off season talking about how their roster was better than the year before. They hyped UF as a contender and how much better they had gotten and how they would beat us in 2024 in a rematch, have the best QB in America, top 5 OL, etc. They put us on upset watch and hyped USF and Golesh for beating that UF team.

All we can do is beat who is on our schedule. Also, ND lost to A&M because their pass rusher was tackled on the last play the game.

I get your point, probably true, but I try to acknowledge what teams try to do with their scheduling vs look at it in depth during the season. Scheduling is done years in advance. Hard to control the strength of schedule and there’s not a team in the country with a better OOC slate than Miami. Miami tried to have a tough schedule and were failed by programs that should be better. The ACC is the ACC but Miami plays 6 of the top 8 teams in the conference (excluding ourself).

All valid points and none of it’s lost on me. I’m just not going to be upset anyone skeptical of Miami thus far. Especially with Mario at the helm

I don't think either ND or UF is a bad team. They both have lost to very good teams. Us, Texas AM, and LSU are very good teams and USF is pretty decent also.

Florida is a bad team. Good defense. Bad offense and bad overall ‘team’

The ND defense is one of the worst in the country right now. I’m very skeptical of them

Exactly. Just win, baby.

Don’t care-

Win games-

One game at a time-

This year looks different than in recent memory.

ND is a good team but appears to have been overrated to start the season. We were the better team but the game could have easily been an L.

USF- If you look at their roster talent , it is about equal to bottom tier ACC teams. Very good win nonetheless

Gators- Very good Defense but below average QB play and they are probably a middle-of-the-road SEC team. Game was not decided until we scored with 4 minutes left in the 4thQ to seal the win.

No one can be upset with a 4-0 start and the positives outweigh the negatives but the resume is only 1/3 complete.
