Well then yeah, absolutely lol. But I’ve been following recruiting faithfully for over 20 years now, that **** NEVER works out like that. Plus it’s not even like Griffith came out and said “I’m going where they (Mathis/Scroggins) are going!”. There is just talk that they are all good friends all being in Savannah. In reality it means nothing, especially when all of their options aren’t the same.

If he is a legit 6’2 that would help but I’m willing to bet he isn’t because these kids are NEVER truly the height that they are listed at. I remember the big time pass rusher that Manny signed from GA who was a monster prep pass rusher but ultimately his 6’0 240 pound stature just couldn’t really cut it.

Not saying he can’t be a good player on this level, just thinking out loud when I see these types.

Really like him as a prospect, easily one of the better pickups thus far assuming the deal is done.

Class is meh overall right now but granted it’s June and last season’s furious close was eye opening. But, this season probably has a massive swing (in both directions) regarding how it all ends up.

10-2, we’re cooking. Even 9-3 is fine for recruiting purposes, albeit somewhat disappointing on paper as far as record goes.

8-4 or worse, personally don’t think even Mario can probably spin that to recruits and recruiting will suffer to an extent
