cost us the game
edit** (as much if not more than anyone else costs us) fair assessment I think.

James blew it at the end when we had a chance to win it, but if herb doesn’t do that dumb *** block in the back call that took back stacy coley’s td then we win 21-20

don’t get me wrong, James coley is getting canned tomorrow and deservedly so. I think that halfback toss was by far idiotic.

But if we are quick to blame rashawn scott and quick to blame james coley then imo, Herb waters should shoulder the blame because he’s the one that took points off the board.

that call was weak considering it's the end of the game and wouldn't of made a difference in the outcome of the play. refs have pussified the college football fanbase and actually think these calls are sane.

Herb's play was just one in a very long string of dumbass plays. I don't put it only on him. This team can't tackle, can't catch, can't block, and the coaches call a HB pass in a blizzard. If there's a dumbass play to make, or a dumbass play to call, this team will do it and find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Good riddance to all of them. Bring on the Richt era!

is it fair to say then that he had as much to do with it than the other guys?

I’m just saying we won the game, then he made a terrible decision and pushed someone in the back that brought it back.

almost like trevor darling killing stacy coley’s long run(but that one actually seemed like it helped the play a little if i remember correctly)

It did. It looked like it sprung Coley.

not to mention our coaches burning a time out pre snap at the end of the game. basically not even giving out players a chance to win the game.

How many passes should we have intercepted today. There were A LOT of dropped balls on the defensive side of the ball. A few of them were on Wazzu scoring drives.

Still sucks, you win as a team and you lose as a team.

I believe Bush called that timeout, but the coaches (mostly Coley) did plenty of stupid things, too.

If you watch that play again he hit him above the thigh. Right at the waist. It should not have been called.

He did cost us the game. Totally undisciplined. Par for the course.

I am absolutely dumbfounded by how we have so many kids that do the stupidest things I have ever seen on a football field. Its like they have never watched a football game in their lives.

That play absolutely cost us a touchdown and I don't see WSU coming back after that. The timeout by Bush was awful as well.

Its like Scott running onto the field during the Duke return before Elder crossed the line.

Just unfathomable stupidity.

Maybe the dumbest team I have ever seen in a Miami uniform.

What is crazy about all the stuff that everyone is talking about but everyone is forgetting Scott dropped a TD in the end zone

Yes but that's a skill play, WSU dude made a great play... These other plays are mental errors. You have to know you cant push someone in the back and you also have to know that you will kill you team and possibly lose the game when pushing him in the back on the 1 yard line on 1st FN down.

That TD down the seams was the worse, that shouldn't happen against 2-High...well, unless you're coached by D'duhduhdaffyduck.

nope didn’t forget about that. I included him in the post and there were several threads about him, but this waters one happened after that and was the key decider in the game.

even if yearby gets the ball to coley there’s no 100% guarantee we win, waters took points off the board and we would have been up 21-20
