I totally agree.

The TE coach hire is going to be massive, if Mario can land a home run there, we could see Gilbert take a big jump. Saying that, I would still like this staff to add at least one more TE body to this roster for depth.

I doubt it. My read is that he was similar to Leavitt in his approach to the portal. LSU is paying him way more than we would pay and that’s the difference. I agree, he’d be better off here career-wise, but for him I guess he thinks he’s good enough regardless of coach so the money entirely dictates destination.

I did not realize his waiver was denied. We was pretty good at Tulane with Mensah. Regressed under Woodiel.

I am astonished that Tight End U has become our least effective position group and includes an injured halfback (Lofton), an injured project who I don't believe has ever seen the field (Carver), a RS freshman who didn't play meaningful snaps last year and looked awkward the few snaps he took (Gilbert) and 2 true freshmen. And the guy I thought had the best Schott at being playoff caliber transferred to Indiana.

we're gonna need to win the conference or at the very least get to the title game undefeated to guarantee we get in because our schedule is charmin soft. Don't want to give the committee any opportunity to fvck us, especially since next year ND is guaranteed to get in if they finish in the top 12
