Don't want a big thread-hijacking debate, but you're take is borderline ridiculous. Did you ever ask yourself why it's expensive? When demand exceeds supply, prices go up. You might not like CA, but many people obviously do. It has also generated more wealth creation in the last decade than any state in the US and most small countries; trends are accelerating.

Man, hope Lowe can get around some positive influences because he's going to be away from discipline, accountability, and structure for 5-6 months.
