Has Jarren already passed Kosi?

Grown men? Seriously? I'm not saying they're kids, but I was extremely mature at 20 and FAR from a grown man. Until you live on your own and support yourself financially, you are not a grown man.
Tell that to the army, navy and bros raising there brothers and sisters.

I got my money on Jarren Williams for the future if not the near future. If Perry was what he was hyped to be we would be hearing something by now. Everything about Perry has been hype until he actually started practicing and now we don't hear anything about him. We hear plenty about Jarren (plus we've seen him and the stats suggest he going well) and the only negative is he doesn't know the playbook. Well, to that I say, we can open up the playbook with Rosier until he starts throwing interceptions and inaccurate passes then we have to run simple 1 read passing concepts because Rosier won't be trusted to make more then 2 reads.

What? So based on a scrimmage in the spring Rosier is now getting benched during LSU, forget about everything he did last season. Com'on.
What he did last season is part of the reason he’s on a short leash.

Did you listen to the interview on the first page what former cane kelvin Harris had to say who talked to several players?...

I never was high on Perry. I thought Allison was the most talented QB last year, but clearly he had other interests. From all the services, not that that means a ton, J Will is the best QB we've signed in a very long time. He also had a good tape from ATL. His scrimmage stats were the best. I think that Jarren has the potential to be a 3 and out guy.

If I were coach I don't know what I'd decide for game 1. If Jarren's clearly better, I'd go with him. If it's close, you take less heat starting Rosier v LSU. Especially because the loser of the QB race between Perry and Williams in 2019 is a lock to transfer.

I mean, if you're being objective and actually comparing their reps, you'll see that Williams already looks crisper than Perry.

Williams gets the ball out quicker.
Makes the right read more often.
****, for crying out loud, we can barely get the ball snapped on time when Perry is at QB. He takes forever to get the ball snapped. That's a sign that he doesn't quite know what he's looking at pre-snap.
Williams also moves around the pocket very well and doesn't automatically look to run. He'll move around, keep his eyes down field, reset his feet and fire to an open WR. (rather than just take off)

I don't know who's more talented but IMO it's very clear who's better above the neck. One kid got top notch coaching in high school and the other didn't even know how to read a defense when he got here. (which is sad)

We'll see what happens but I think he eventually moves ahead of Perry.

This is pretty much what i saw in him too, he also looked better running the RPO

Williams has poise beyond his years, and it's natural in the sense that he came in this way.

What happens to your eyes, feet, and arm-mechanics when the pocket breaks down? That's the difference between the three dudes on the roster, and what separates good from great. They've gone through the drills of sliding their feet and keeping their eyes down field in practice every day, but one guy does it perfectly when it matters most.

Williams is clearly the most talented QB on the roster and the future of the program. The only question is if Williams can grasp the playbook enough to command the offense come 9/2.

I’m a big fan of the kid and hopes he takes the job, but he hasn’t even been hit.. pocket presence is only known after they take a couple on the chin
