Has Anyone Taken A Look At Where This Class Ranks?

Where has oregon,GT,Duke, VT classes been ranked? Rankings are overrated its about development of talent.

You just answered your own question. Those coaching staffs can develop and coach their players up. This staff can't recruit, coach or develop their players.

Phillip DOrsett didn't develop? Underused, maybe? Develop? He's turned himself into a very good WR and is being talked about as a second round pick now. But but but he wasn't developed.

What about clive walford who was raw as **** when he first came to Miami? HOw did he turn out?

Ladarius Gunter?

You haters are absolute cancer to the program.

Thanks for the analysis Alfred

Jesus, the responses in this thread just reminded me why I almost never visit CIS.

Oh, and if there's a depth issue in year 4, that's on the coach for poor recruiting/roster management. Did you hear Urban crying about depth after his top 2 QBs on the depth chart went down?

It's because all the responses are coming from Gator and Nole trolls.

Lmao at y'all naming three players as evidence that developing talent is a strength.....if that's the case Coley, Howard, McCord and Bush say hi.

huh? want to see the NFL players from temple? TEMPLE? That's called TRACK RECORD buddy.

and lol @ howard. always been a bust. just because he has some 4 star rating means nothing. what has he ever done with miami that has shown you he has any type of ability.

please ban this moron.

I just find all these Tracy Howard nuthuggers funny. Not only is he slow as ****, but he can't tackle for ****. His tackling is an embarrasment. Yet, for some reason they come on here acting like he's some "aggressive man to man shut down corner". Kid is a bust.

you're coach is a bust Jersey Cane

Absolutely astonishing with all the failures Golden continues to have, he still has supporters on here! Just can't understand why they can't see how awful this ******* is at all things college football!

90% of his supporters on here are UM plants, and the other 10% are trolls.

LOL at the notion that this staff cant develop talent......If truth be told we were fumbles away by two of the big pro prospects of having a great season

Please elaborate on this post. I fail to see how we are a few turnovers away from a great season with an average margin of defeat of 10.7 & SEVEN losses.

Also Let's just forget Duke having 180 yds/game In the games he fumbled in

Why bring those facts into the conversation?

The 2016 class isn't here. Great we have some people saying they will come. We had great players this time last year saying they would come and slowly but surely they all changed their minds.

Our poor class shouldn't be a shocker to anyone. When you go 6-7 in a relatively week conference, with a rival in the final four, that's supposed to happen.

Never will be a slurper, but just looking at everything from a common sense pov (and complete optimism to keep my sanity), the below facts all add up perfectly and really just try your patience more than anything...

1. Starting a true freshman QB is tough for any program (Fact)
2. Losing key players is VERY tough on a program in rebuild mode (Fact)
3. Coaching in certain areas for 3 years had already to be proven below average to say the least (Fact)
4. Team mutiny between younger players blaming senior leaders for tanking to ensure not being injured after FSU game tore team apart at core, making the final 3 losses after that game not very shocking (Fact)
5. Staff, being loyal to seniors and still playing them after locker room dispute to help ensure draft status, KNOWING that all they had to do was make it through this season because they WOULDN'T get fired, played huge part in final 3 losses after FSU (Fact)

Those are just 5 facts of many. Its OK to blame Golden for not building depth. It's OK to say the coaching staff hasn't coached at a high level much through their tenure here. Its OK to say Golden lost the locker room after FSU. But it's not OK to keep beating ourselves to death day after day about why this class will be poor, knowing that our AD, BOT and Pres are fine with the mediocrity for at least another year. As fans, all we can do is face the FACTS. I'm choosing to take the high road and just wait til December. Either we'll be subpar again (anything under 9 wins will be that in my opinion) and Golden SHOULD definitely be feeling the heat, or somehow this guy proved us all wrong, had the process right and is in a BCS game... As fans, we dont really have any other choice...

blah blah blagh same thing every year. oooohhhh our 2016 class is looking really good. any of your remember 2013 when we had like 30 commits before the season even started and then it went to ****

We really took advantage of the insane depth at DB in south Florida this year didn't we?

ooooo weee

After we win 10 games that will keep the 16 class on the ship, very crucial this year is if we can win 9-10 things will be looking incredible if not new coach rebuild

Exactly. And after Al has gone 85-0 with 5 NCs the next five years.....well, who´s gonna have egg on their faces then? Crucial five year period coming up.

What are you talking about? This class is a program changer!

SBB, Ridley, Irvin, Dexter Williams, Gibson...all going to be playing on Sundays! Can't wait to see 'em at Sun Life.

That's not the high road, thats the road for pussies who are too scared to stand strong when things aren't going their way. Just because the board and the admin accept mediocrity, doesn't mean the fans should go, "OK, if you say it is alright to suck we're OK with that, sorry for not seeing it that way sooner."

What you and so many fail to see is that there is no guarantee that golden will be fired after next season. If golden finds a way to win at least 8 games next year and all the disgruntled fans put a cork in it until December, they could easily justify keeping him. Golden has all ready started selling the idea that he's been working a 3 year plan that is building for the 2016 season. Any positive momentum or improvement at the end of next season and he'll convince the admin his plan is right on schedule. Further more, he'll say the fans are being unreasonable because they didn't complain all year and now when he's on the verge of turning the corner, the fans are all of sudden against him. He'll make it seem like there's some personal vendetta against him and the admin will eat it up. **** that. He has proven that he can't coach for ****, if you stay quiet until December and the team wins 8-9 games, it makes you look delusional. I can see it now, Folden talking about how "this team won more games and improved in multiple categories across the board, all despite playing a lot of inexperienced guys and having had to deal with scholarship sanctions. The fans wouldn't have been happy unless we went undefeated and win the title, and that's just not reasonable. This team improved so much and is on the verge of being great, but the fans have an agenda and that's that. I feel bad for our players. I really do."

The admin needs to know every one of his **** ups from now till he's fired. You don't wait until December to ***** about the previous recruiting class, you don't wait till the end of the season to complain about foldens lack of in game coaching ability. 4 years is a long enough sample size to know if someone can coach or not. Sanctions, clouds, investigation et al, have no bearing on your coaching philosophies or abilities. He is who he is, no matter how much talent he has on the team he will always find a way to be out coached against quality teams in big games.

Some of you need to get your head out of your ***. The fresh air will do you good.

10 games including the bowl game

have you seen the schedule for next year? A 5 win season is the likely outcome

Based on what? Our schedule is all but four games at home and filled with creampuffs largely in replacement mode. FSU is replacing a lot and has to find a QB. Clemson has who I think is the ACC's best returning QB (us and GT have a case as well), but can he stay healthy. Nebraska isn't anything special and lost some players, including their badass running back. GT, hopes to fill as well, but their QB is the best at running their offense they've had under Johnson and the best they've had in roughly 15 years. The rest, nothing to worry about on paper, but on paper we have Al as coach (who sucks) and will be replacing our key players (minus QB) on offense and our defensive leader. Like every season under this guy, each game is a toss up so you never know what we'll get. We will most likely drop 4 to 6 games, but unless these teams with big question marks answer them, it won't be because of the schedule.

Also, somebody was trying to credit Al with developing Dorsett? Huh? What?

There's a lot of wide receivers out there with his size, who run as good of routes as he does, and have comparable or better hands. So what's the difference and why is Dorsett getting all of this attention? It all started at birth, something he was born with, and that gift is very good to elite speed. I'm hesitant to say elite since he never ran track here, but there's no question he's **** fast and that's what is separating him from a lot of receivers that have everything he has.

Exactly. Most of these people like JerseyCaneFan and Dade County's Finest are late comers to the board. When they post, it's always the same MO....like talking points. It has the feel of a PR campaign strategy or one facet of an overall strategy to silence or belittle the opposition. That would be the Fans, or at least those of us that have had our fill of mediocrity over the last decade. I think the Powers That Be are seeing the dollars drying up from donors, boosters, and season ticket holders, and they are beginning to panic.

We don't really have a need for any of those guys. This class is all about filling needs and also bringing some junkyard dogs into the program.
