Hard Rock Stadium Cooling Issue's Hypothetical Solution

You simply have too much time on your hands

No I am just well read on diverse subjects. Several of my family members are in reliability engineering and my old lady is in wholesale commercial / industrial HVAC sales. So I have had conversations about venue HVAC issues.

Hopefully Hard Rock Stadium in the future will the NFL's top 25 most energy efficient stadiums.

2 dried up hormonal old ladies whine about it being hot in Miami in September, and Parrotnose has Ross spending another $50M on the stadium to appease the 2 old hags.

Paranos, I appreciate your service to this board.

So youre saying we should get Air Conditioning. Thats all this is. Bunch of fancy words for solar powered AC.

Are we going to football games or the prom?

Good grief...

I recall coming home from a game sweaty, hoarse, sunburned, emotionally spent and feeling like I played in the game with the players.

I can't relate to wanting a game to feel like a home experience. Why not just stay home?

I still recall how hot, sticky and dirty I was after the 2000 FSU game( where they ran out of bottled water at the Orange Bowl, LOL) and the humid and sweltering night at the Florida game in 2003( the incredible comeback led by Brock Berlin) and needing like a 20 minute shower

It's some of the greatest moments of my life as a fan. I wouldn't change a thing.

You felt like you were a part of the victory. There was nothing like the OB during a big game when there was a real crowd. I still remember my first Orange Bowl in 1998( I live in Los Angeles) for the UCLA game, rushing the field after that game was incredible, celebrating at midfield with the players - including Edgerrin James - and taking a piece of the Orange Bowl turf( which is still in my office to this day)

So yeah, gimme the elements, there are plenty of other weekends I watch the game on a couch with air conditioning and multiple screens and laptops streaming games.

I hope they get it fixed. That hot stadium will give me a serious case of swamp ***.

I didn't think the canopy was necessary either **** NJ doesn't have a roof why should S Fla? Someone thought differently because of croud noise, rain, whatever! Didn't have roofs growing up except The Kingdome or Astrodome. As a kid was at Texas Stadium for a game in September and people were being trucked out because of heat stroke and that small opening in the roof with no AC and no ventilation.

So either do it or don't do it! If they do it technology allows for options they didn't have before. Just take a tent to the beach or move to another state! Thought it was part of game day experience like sunburn and good ole tortuous humidity for visitors on other sideline.

Parrotnose, I love your DT recruiting threads, but please stop the insanity in threads like this. Hard Rock Stadium is located in Miami Gardens, FL. News Flash: it's going to be hot in any stadium here in September, and the canopy on the $500M renovation has been projected to offer up to a 30 degree reduction in temperature for people who actually go to the games. Buck up, big fella and enjoy the ride.

He isn't fixing shiznit. He should stick with posting videos of DTs.

Just replicate this wolfpack fan and strategically place them throughout the stadium.

He's branching out into engineering now. He's like Burger King making hot dogs. Give him his space.

He gave you his credentials. His imaginary girlfriend works for Air Around the Clock answering phones. That makes him as qualified as anyone to solve this pesky heat issue at Hard Rok.
