Harbaugh facing 6 game suspension

Stick around.

I recall - Clappy. Then Radar. Then Golden. Dorito - he was BAD. And that doesn't count other assistants, coordinators, AD's, University Presidents on and on, and on.

Oh.

And it was all justified!
The problem with Gattis is the incredible year over year downfall.

People forget that D-No's defense wasn't that bad in 2011; Randy had left Golden with a decent amount of talent - many of them veterans - that year. There was heavy attrition that offseason and our blue chip ratio fell to historic lows. That combined with freshmen trying to adhere to "exotic" schemes led to a disastrous 2012, before there was some recovery in 2013.

Just about anyone could give Nix a pass in 2007. He took over an offense that had six wide receivers. Aside from running a triple option, there isn't that much you can do when you start the year with that few players at a key position.

Gattis took over an offense that was fairly prolific in 2021, and was thought to have plenty of blue chip talent ready to fill the gaps left Rambo and Harley. Instead we ended up with the worst offense in Miami history, ten months after we had one of the more prolific offenses in recent memory.

They're suspending him for UNLV, ECU, Bowling Green and Rutgers. All four games are at home.

That'll show him.
I wonder if he'll be like a certain San Antonio AAU coach that I observed back in 2020. He got ejected from the game after arguing with the referees. So he got a chair, marched out, and planted said chair in the doorway to the gym. And kind of continued to coach from there.

Just imagining Harbaugh out in the tunnel coaching wirelessly, or even in his office.

Cheating during Covid. Maybe this makes Harbaugh jump to the nfl finally. Wonder if any players may look to leave if he bounces.

Welp it looks like it’s finally happening. Not sure why the ncaa even bothers to with trying to monitor all this anymore

If you are a big name school there is no downside to cheating, or getting caught cheating.

Suspended for games against three D7 schools and one D4 school. Sounds about right.

So suspended from the games only, not any preparation during the week? There's no punishment if it's the games only. My wife gives two ***** about football and could make that team 3-1 at worse at the helm against that schedule.

Certain Programs & Coaches are operating under two different sets of rules smh

Yup. And its not just coaches. Look at what they did to Reggie Bush, took the man's Heisman trophy.

Now look at what's been disclosed in the Johnnie Manziel documentary. Had 4th string player take multiple drug tests for him. His father faked a heart attack to avoid Manziel getting drug tested at the NFL combine. Floated a bogus story to the media about his family being extremely wealthy to provide cover for all of the stuff he bought with side money paid to him by boosters. On and on...

One guy played at USC and the other played in the SEC. Guess which one still has their Heisman trophy.

Usually when a school self-impose, it's to lessen the blow that's coming...but yeah this still isn't even considered a slap on the wrist.

Edit: straight from the article - "Michigan's self-imposed suspension for Harbaugh is designed to soften the potential ruling from the NCAA, which likely won't come until 2024, a source said. Harbaugh faces a Level I violation, which would be for not cooperating with or misleading NCAA investigators about the alleged violations."

After what happened to us after we 'self imposed' I'd never do it again.
