GTF IN HERE - And state where you’re at

Last week’s loss was rock bottom, but Manny and staff got out the shovel and pick axe and dug deeper. There can’t be a Canes fan alive that believes that Manny will be successful here. Everybody knows he’s failed and is dead man walking, same as Taggert. It is just a matter of time before he gets fired. I thought Shannon’s 5-7 or Richt’s 7-5 last year was the worst seasons I’d ever have to live through. This season is by far worse. I’ve never seen Miami THIS BAD. Manny, James, Enos, n Baker all got to go.

Me and u been echoing this **** for a while, bruh

My friend; I’ve been around sports all my life. Literally my dad had me heavily involved watching all sports since the age of 2 yrs old.

I’ve seen waaaaaaaaay too many instances when teams, organizations go through the lazy motion, and hire upon familiarity, regardless if that familiarity had already been established from a failed regime. 97% of the time, it fails.

Go look at basketball, football, baseball, or hockey teams; it’s proven. Every red moon u may strike gold, but it’s far in between.

Everything you said here is VERY TRUE.

Basically, in order for Diaz to succeed, WHICH HE WON'T...
IS TO SELL HIS SOUL AND DO SOME ILLUMINATI RITUALS.
Cause there ain't **** that's gonna show that he will be a successful HC at the FBS level.
Mfer ain't even a FCS coach. I'm no longer emotionally invested.

Personally, I didn’t like the cheap shots Diaz was taking to Richt on his way out. That showed a lot of immaturity. That was flag #1. Flag #2 was his constant, perpetual tweets when he thought “he” did something good. Flag #3, hindsight being 20/20, was showing up to a fund raiser on a yacht.

So am I shocked we have a culture problem here? Absolutely not. It’s OK to be a player’s coach, but Diaz made the off season about him and “his way.”

So w that being said; do I see Diaz having the balls to surround himself w established current/former P5 minds that will challenge him, and the team? No; honestly I don’t. I’m afraid if he fires Enos, he’ll just replace him w another G5 guy he’s familiar w. Diaz has a bit of a complex, imo. He talked about himself a lot this off season, rarely about the team.

If Manny can get the chip off his shoulder, and realize he needs real help, and makes the right moves, then we may have something. However, the way he manipulated the contract negotiation, and bailed on a school that just signed him.....that + the off season antics are all we need to know about Diaz’s character and doesn’t have me very optimistic.

Its clear to me that Manny is simple just not ready for prime time.

He can talk the talk and posture and pose with the best of them......but when you get down to the nitty gritty." There's NO there, there.... Mostly flash with very little substance.

As a Cane I feel bad for him. But there's no use beating around bush....Manny is NOT HC material. He is simply in far over his head. You can hope he grows out of it....but know this fact....he will ALWAYS let you down when you're counting him the most.

He is more into celebrating than doing the work it takes to win consistently and stay on top

Disappointment is not a strong enough word to describe how I feel about this team after regular season play. I’m not ready to do a post-mortem yet. This is a team that in theory should have closed this one out with 10 wins—minimum!

There is definitely something dysfunctional with this group of athletes and coaches. They’ve given up, look slow and disinterested in football. Whatever THAT is—“The Disease”, laziness, riding coattails—its got to come to an end before this program can turn it around.

What if
What if the disease is aids, what do we do?

I was for Manny in the beginning. But when I am wrong, I don’t deny it and I was wrong. You can’t lose to FIU, Duke, GT and this year’s version of UNC. It’s time to call him into a meeting:

I’m usually for giving a coach some time in a program before making judgement but, in this case we need to cut our losses and start over. I didn’t see any improvement from week one until now. This was the softest schedule we’ve had maybe ever and we were out coached in every game. There’s no reason for not winning the coastal.Next years schedule is also on paper soft. I don’t see Manny and this staff getting better I just don’t. We don’t need three years to make judgment. I’ve seen all I need to see in year one.

Where Tex stands. We shoulda hired B when we hired that car salesman. We shoulda hired B when we hired that washed up wore out no offense play callin Mork. We shoulda hired B when we hired a ***** rookie that had never accomplished a goddam thing. We would be living in the top 5, and I'm including too many men on the field on kickoff, AND the occasional chinese fire drill, talent rules. And *** anybody that dont agree I'll go toe to toe anytime on football knowledge

The real problem is that everyone on this forum cares way way more about Canes football and winning than the terrible leadership of this university (BOT, Prez). As a result, we get stuck with unqualified guys (manny, Blake) leading our flagship program. Face it fellas, we are never coming back until there is massive change at the highest of levels. I still recall meeting with Richard Fain (chairman of the BoT) last year after another pathetic loss and his words to me were “it’s gonna take some time...” I almost lost it. It’s been 20 years, how much more time do you bozos need?! Your actions show that you are more than happy cashing adidas and ACC checks and being mediocre. And pretending to care about football when your actions show you **** well don’t.

I was livid the moment he was hired, now I just don't care. Diaz is the coach, he's awful at the job, and as long as Blake James is AD there's no point in looking for another HC. I'm voting with my checkbook, I refuse to donate another dime to this athletic department. I would rather take my niece and nephew to see "Frozen 2" instead of watching a Miami football game. That's something that would have been unimaginable 10 years ago. Now, I VOLUNTEERED to go. Watching this team is migraine inducing, it's a waste of time and the scary part is that this may be Manny's most talented team. This staff can't recruit, and I find it hard to believe that they are going to develop anyone.
