When the hire first got announced, I was ****ed, got convinced by many on here it was a decent hire, manny said the right things and seemed to have a good grasp on what needed to change and be done.

but there’s no defending this staff now, I don’t care how young the team is, or any excuse, all of these losses are on the coaching staff, and something needs to be done.
 
The messed up part is that I would have happily produced similar results for a lot less money.

RVA over on the Banner thread that Mel Bernstein started we have garnered a lot of support and I think have the money to fly the plane with a Fire Blake James type banner. But no one knows how’s to organize it. I remember we flew one last year, do you know who organized it because I’d like to get his help on this?
 
We run schemes that don’t mesh well with the personnel. Defensively all his buddies need to go. And so does Enus

And I have my suspicions that he’s the same Go Canes from the blog Canespace. I used to post on there and that Go canes on there posts the same homer BS. Guaranteed there the same dudes.

The problem is that he's bad (he at least needed a redshirt), but he's also down on himself.

You could see it in the 4th Q - whenever they showed him after a bad play, he had his head down and he was feeling sorry for himself. He's mentally beaten right now. They're doing him a disservice continuing to run him out there.

I knew it after the UNC game and raised concerns then but kept it to DM’s mostly as I really didn’t want to trash the coaches on the board but I think we’ve seen enough of a sample size to objectively say we’re in trouble.
 
I'm a cane for life let Nkosi run the Offense and see what happens and if that doesn't work go with tate Jarren nah I'm good on him

The offensive line neutered the Canes offense in the North Carolina, Central Michigan, and Virginia Tech games. It's historically bad. Like year two of starting up a college football program bad.

The offensive line got Jarren Williams hurt two weeks ago. Quite likely that's why he turned into a turnover machine today.

That spotted Va Tech great field position and basically won them the game.

Now there are other issues - defensive adjustments, that stupid penalty after the TD, kicking, and having TD rings come out when you're down by 28 points. But the offensive line issues are paramount. It would be no better if Richt was here - probably worse in many respects. I'm not sure how Manny and staff fix that. But it doesn't matter if everyone else - QB, WR, TE, and HB are four star players. If our line is playing like 1 and zero stars, if not negative, all of that is negated.

Manny is a soft players coach who doesn't hold anyone accountable. That's exactly what the BoT wanted.

It took Butch Davis five years to field a great team and that's after he inherited a team from a 2 time NC championship coach that still had his players on it.
