Not going to make any comparisons until I see him play a few downs of college football but I will say that I'm much higher on Rousseau than I ever was on Chatfield or any of the other last second DEs we were trying to sign right before signing day. Even if he never fills out, his frame and athletic ability make him pass rush specialist at the least. You can't coach size and I'll take a slightly raw 6'6" kid with room to grow at DE over a smaller, stand-up OLB type every day of the week.

Yea man i wasn't too hyped for a 6'1-6'2 de that weighed 215 and I didn't consider it a loss when he was salty for getting a late offer from us

Amen! Couldn't say it better myself.

Rousseau brings some special attributes to the table. The others did not. Thankfully we have a staff that can help him reach his full potential, whatever that ends up being.

Just think of all the batted passes that he could rack up each game... If I'm an opposing QB and pivot left to try to make a throw but instead see his big 6'7" *** with outstretched arms right in my face, I'm shook for a second.

Gonna keep it real 100%

Kid's film shows he's raw. Didnt think he played physical, and didn't see the Joe Jackson or Garvin in him either as far as being shot out of a cannon... His length helped him naturally on some plays, plus guys not really blocking him (prolly intimidated) helped him too. But i did not see much technique

But when a guy is that long and coordinated, i still thought it was a good pickup, as far as potential; considering Coach Kool at the time.

The new DL coach seems to be a task master for technique... hope it works out!

John Square had exact same frame and he was effective pass rusher though he was a backup
