Greg with a pick

Will go down next to Calais Campbell as one of the dumbest NFL evaluations in recent memory.

Productive, athletic giants with motor and character are usually good at football.
CC will always be one of my favorite 'Canes. Still remember being a freshman in my dorm room, and this giant came walking by (I was one of those people that left my door open, especially if I was playing Madden on the PS2), and it was Calais. He saw that I was playing NCAA 2005 and wanted to battle. Cool dude, had to beat the brakes off of him though.

Absolute steal for the Bills getting him at 30 in the draft.
There was a reason I said the Dolphins should break the land speed record getting to the podium to draft him if he was available at 17. 30 was just stupid for someone with his ability. People just don't understand the impact of a guy with length that has the brain to know exactly how to use it. ***** the 40 times and testing numbers. Look at production. Him falling to 30 is almost as stupid as Zach Thomas falling to the 5th round.

His mom was a healthcare worker and they didn't have vaccines back then. So yes, the situation is different now. Most importantly, it was his choice. He made it abundantly clear he would not have opted out if Covid weren't around.
Vaccines, good one.

I was just about to post the exact same thing.

Nah, I want Manny gone as much as you guys. But Phillips wasn't hurt by Manny. And Greg would have gotten his licks in.

Manny's gimmicky scheme is kind to DEs. They're not asked to set the edge, only have to cover the flats occasionally, and they get those highlight TFLs. Would have been something to see him and JP as our DEs with Roche as third man in. We didn't have a terrible season last year overall despite being destroyed by Clemson and UNC. He would have made a difference, not W/Ls probably, but showing some dominance and shutting down those close games like NC State.

We had 2 first round DEs in the same draft, that's insane. All of us should be celebrating their successes in the NFL. Hope both guys go on to be All Pros and HOFers.

No prizes for guessing what this idiot thinks about many things.

Enjoy the Capitol earlier in the year?

Yeah not sure what the "Get away from Manny" crowd is thinking especially for a DE. Greg with Phillips on the other side and Roche backing them up would have been a 1st team AA last year and a top 3-5 pick.

Manny is alot of things and should and will be fired barring some 6-7 game stretch miracle to which I have not seen in a while BUT its not his fault that DJohnson has proven to be a JAG, Harvey isnt any better, and McCloud is even worse. We have one playable DE in Chantz Williams. The scheme is tailor made to make most DEs look like superstars. (which BTW was the knock on GR15 by OUR FANS during the weeks leading up to the draft when they were dogging him. Go look it up.) So goes to show how bad the DE group we have now is.

Every time Greg was on the field, he made something happen. It just didn’t matter. He was probably the most impactful player on either side of the ball we’ve had in the last decade.

If Covid doesn’t happen we would have heard him mentioned in the same vibe as the Bosa/Chase Young type of players I firmly believe that. He was the one guy that had the potential to take over a game had we got to see more of him.

Can’t wait to see his future.
Covid robbed us of Rousseau Phillips Roche terrorizing all season, but we still had to play bama next year, lol.. You cant make this **** up.. the one year we actually have a elite impact physical speciman player in who knows how long who has to come back for third year, gets a out of jail free card... FML..

We’ve definitely created our own “luck” in a lot of ways but going back to guys like Richards and Malik….man we’ve had a ****** stretch with luck

The longer players are around the garbage culture that Manny has cultivated, the further and further they regress.

I agree. But a lot of the porsters on this board said that he was just an “effort guy”, and that’s how he dominated.

Kid is special, and has shown it since his freshman camp on Greentree when he was wrecking **** from the jump. Only the GOAT corch of all-time would sit this freak out for a variety of different excuses.
