He's angling to get back to a high profile coaching job. He'll field some great defenses for a few years with the depth and talent they have there. Can't see him there longer than 3 years.

That's a title given to many former head coaches when the have to step back. IMO, it's nothing more than something to justify paying them more than they are probably worth, while stroking their ego.
