Why not fire Blake and make Manny the dam Ad. One thing we know is Manny is dam good in the off season. He has won the off season national title every year hes been here. lol . He obviously has the gift of gab which im sure he learned from his father. Speaking of his father im would assume that would really help put Manny in the right circles for fundraising as well. Also Manny has shown hes very good at promoting just look at things like Paradise camp and the BBQs he put on. From all accounts the kids loved these events and I think that would translate into throwing fundraiser events.

With all that said Its just bad timing and it would never work. Cant imagine him not being ****ed he got let go as head coach. But **** he might want to be an AD.

Yes I know it wont happen so you dont need to blast me. Just tossing **** around thats all.

Manny's not a leader. You need your AD to have a vision and be a leader, and above all else, hold people under you accountable.

The new rumor from a guy posting on the Flo show last night that says he has a inside source is now-Diaz moves to Football AD and the coaching search is underway and Blake keeps his job as AD but no Football duties. That way Diaz is still on salary and no buyout. Trouble is who wants to work under Diaz so i hope this is not true.

That would be worst than what we have now. Because it would take another decade to fully get rid of the cancer.

Corbin is somewhat connected from what I can tell, but he hates the school admin with a passion. Id put him closer to Lebetard (who used the school to make a name for himself) than a caring advocate for change. His beef is much bigger than football, right or wrong, it’s just the closest cudgel.

No, why don't we expect an AD that can actually do his job. Let's realize that the 80's are long gone as are the 90's and 2001. Let's find a new identity, not nostalgia and 9 or 10 wins. Mario is nostalgia, he is a 9 or 10 win guy. He is a guy that will drive you crazy when he loses to GT or Duke. But hey, with Mario we might be 130 - 60, right? Feel good about the season until we blow a game we are supposed to win, but then again, there is always next year. Our new mantra, but it wasn't always like that, we didn't always set the bar at the costal.

If Miami wasn't my team I would be thrilled to see Blake steal Mario from Oregon. There would be all of the pomp and circumstance like Manny and TNM until the team actually had to play.

That’s not what he said. He said players felt “something was up” but didn’t know what, and tied it to the cooney tweet. He said he expects a statement from the AD this week, but not sure what’s in it. He said he has no idea when manny will be let go, but he will be.
