Great win, but FSU exposed us

No one is advocating for Rosier to be the QB of the team again. What people are concerned about is you see the same offensive inconsistencies with both QB’s. Perry’s ceiling is much higher than Rosier’s but in no way did he look like the solution either.

That’s a bad FSU team. That other porster talking about them going 5-1 the rest of the season is on crack. They will be lucky to be .500 for the rest of the year.

Miami has major issues on Offense and Special teams which is going to cause the Canes to drop a game that they shouldn’t just like last year when they lost to Pitt.

The only positive is we have the best defense in college football. Those boys played lights out!

The last thing is a lot of us like to Clown on the Gators and on Mullen but that man is a good coach and he is going to get that team back on track a lot quicker than most would like to think. We have been very fortunate to have our pick of the litter recently in FL but that ain’t going to last especially on the offensive side of the ball if Richt can’t get this **** figured out soon. And the problem is his son is one of the main problems!!! He has no business being the QB coach. Just look at their performance over the past 3 years and this years QB recruiting!!!!

Lol miss st is better than FSU? That's a push
Northwestern better than FSU? They beat Mi State who was ranked ....come on your a better troll than this.

We could have won 56-0 and you'd find something to complain about
Ain't nobody complaining about the win, I'm complaining about the Smhucks that's trying to make fsu be all world now after spending the first 5 weeks lol'n your azzez off about how much they sucked! Do you honestly believe that Mississippi state and northwestern would have to come from behind to beat Samford? C'mon now!

Best post on this thread so far!

So, two units (OL and ST) are bad. Wasn't long ago we'd be hard pressed to name two units that were good. Progress!

Ive been watching this rivalry since the 80's with the Playmaker and Neon Deion, JJ and Bowden. Wide Right 1 2 and 3. Wide Left. So many great games and this was one of them. Anyone who thought this was going to be a blowout hasnt been paying attention to this series. Great win and instant classic.

You sound like an FSU fan that's happy about a moral victory this morning that's all...

I love the canes, but you can't deny what's happening before your eyes. Don't just live in the moment take in the full View I want to win a championship just as bad as anyone. I'm not saying we can't get better. But coaching wise before or during games must get better

It is obvious that this is not a perfect football team.
In fact, it has it's obvious flaws, some of which may not be fixable - at least not this season.....Having said this, this is college football.
Enjoy the moment, especially a gutty win over a rivalry, regardless of how ragged the performance and coaching was.

Special teams, is just bad. But we all knew this. Offensively, we still don't have an identity. Defensively we're High and we're low. As of right now we are a above-average team. I know you Homer's are going to hate on me. The proof is in the performance

You called it. The softies aren't going like in your face reality.

We had ZERO business not beating that team by 10-14, except as usual, Miami gets in Miami's way.

Mark Richt decides to coddle Kosi. He finally gets the hot hand, crowd is loose and loud as ****...you can feel F$U's back is against the wall...time to go for the throat. Richt goes run, run, run, punt to settle the crowd down...and we got **** lucky to squeak it out.

Kosi is a solid talent...but handcuffing him because he (holy ****) might make a few mistakes, screws it all up. Now Cager was not much help to Kosi...but the play calling was just predictable. I'm not sure exactly, but I think Richt let Kosi throw on first down one-two times. He goes empty backfield in the redzone and I wonder if he thought F$U was dumb enough to think it was anything but QB run?!

Sorry, but it was a **** show. If that performance makes you proud with the quality of talent this team possesses, then you really don't a know whole lot about the game.

For the caped crusading super homers...no, Im not saying it wasn't a gutsy comeback, I'm just saying such a comeback should not have been necessary.

Sabah has to beg for any negatives to keep his players level headed...trust me, we have MORE than enough..and it starts with coaching.

We're 5-1. Newsflash, most teams sans Bama has flaws, and even they gave up 31 yesterday to a ****** Arkansas team. I think we are on pace, no one expected us to be a playoff caliber team this year, too many Golden leftovers and do you see all the freshman playing?

But I digress, who are all these teams on our schedule that is going to expose us Op?

We aren’t on pace to be in the playoffs. We play like we did yesterday against Clemson and the score will be the same as it was last year. I am not sure we are going to even get that opportunity to make the ACC championship. Like I said that was a bad team we barely beat with the home field advantage. Let’s talk after going to Blacksburg!

Disagree. Poor play had something to do with an FSU team playing better than they have the entire year. Miami was still better but FSU played well.

I think we're in agreement. I feel we played mostly about the same as we have sll year. With the same area's needing to do better and YES without a doubt FSU had their best game of the year

Agreed. One of the best special teams calls and execution in years.

For a team that was exposed, the Canes didn't seem to know it. The players rushed onto the field at game's end like they defeated a vintage Florida State squad. That type of win from deep deficit typically boosts a team's collective confidence far beyond a run of the mill win.

BTW, there was an interesting variety of attitude from Canes players when they rushed the field. Some were obviously friends with Florida State players and posed for group photographs. Some stopped and talked with Seminoles they respected. But other Canes were waving goodbye in mocking fashion to Florida State players as they headed toward the tunnel.

I'm glad Derwin James wasn't out there. We don't make a comeback like that if an athlete and player of Derwin James' caliber is on that field. That's the worst coached group of Florida State defensive backs I've ever seen in terms of turning and looking for the football. Those blatant interference calls alone contributed to some of our touchdown drives as much as anything else. IMO, the second down halfback pass was an idiotic call and easily could have been intercepted if that Seminole defensive back hadn't panicked, and simply turned around. When you are deep in the end zone like that and the receiver can't keep running, there is even less reason not to turn and look.

There were some hilarious posts here for months describing Derwin James as all-time overrated, if not worse than that. Chargers fans offer a collective laugh.
Derwin is beasting in the NFL, theres a reason he was considered a top 10 pick. Hes legit and always has been alot of fans dont understand projecting players at the next level. But him by himself would not have won that game yesterday around trash players around him
