are you talking about total offense? The talent coley has brought in is 2x better

And the production level has been the same or worse than Fisch's offenses. At the end of the day that's all that matters

Yes, he was good with the x's and o's, but half his job should have been recruiting and he never even bothered with it. How productive would his offense be now with Crow behind center? Thank god for Coley's recruiting.

When he was offered, I reported that he was not Miami material. But, he was and is a class kid. Perhaps JF thought there was room to grow..........

Do people not remember what the QB depth chart looked like when Crow and Dewey were signed?

We didn't have enough QBs for spring ball.

We had to take them both because they could come in January and allow us to have a reasonable spring practice.

And on topic ... Props to Crow for handling his business in the classroom. The kid played college ball at The U, and his parents didn't pay a dime for a really good education.

He's already on the winner's track for the long game of life!

I wish the kid a great senior year, and much success in law school and beyond!

Yep, the situation was terrible at many positions. Can't fault the staff for taking him at that point. NOW would be a much different story, which is a credit to the staff for increasing the talent level at the position ten fold.

True. People don't remember.

Can't fault the staff's integrity for sticking with the kid for 4 years and allowing him to graduate. Crow and a lot of players of similar talent came to us when the media said we would be death penaltied.
He's stuck it out without passing out high on lawns, raping girls, stealing from teammates. He's done it the right way and his future looks bright.

how can you assume crow would've been the qb? Fisch was pushing hard to get that California kid that committed to Oregon

Just goes to show you that Folden is a mis-manager. Butch never had these type of problems.
