Graig Cooper

Wasn’t average. Javarris james was average lol..coop Just had that terrible knee injury his JR year. Could’ve been a 2nd or 3rd pick easy. One of my fav canes

Dude was extremely average...sorry its the truth. Dude had to gear down to -10 before he made a cut. I loved Coop but he was nothing special during his time here.

Johnson and Washington were a few years earlier.

The other RBs in the class with Cooper in '07 were Shawnbrey McNeal and Lee Chambers. Also Damien Berry, but he was listed as a DB coming in.
I meant the original class he signed with us in. That was either 05 or 06. Think it was 06. They were all in that same class. Coop was the year after when lesean and him were at juco together. But the original class had 4 of them in it.

If a kid who was gonna be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd rd b4 tearing up his whole knee is “average” to you then your totally entitled to that opinion. But when I think average I think of RB like garret peyton, javarris James, Charlie Jones

Before his knee injury your talking about a guy who was going to have a nfl career. When he came back for his senior year he was clearly not the samr

Our RB classes were:

02 - JR Mounts (never came)
03 - Tyrone Moss
04 - Charlie Jones (transfer), Bobby Washington (didn't qualify), Andrew Johnson (transfer), Derron Thomas
05 - None
06 - Javarris James, Kylan Robinson (switched to LB), Graig Cooper (didn't qualify), LeSean McCoy (didn't qualify)
07 - Graig Cooper, Shawnbrey McNeal (transfer), Lee Chambers (switched to DB, Damien Berry (switched from DB)
08 - None

That was a really rough 7 year run until we landed Lamar Miller in 2009.

Especially coming off the previous 6 year run of EJ, Jackson, Davenport, Portis, McGahee, and Gore

Lord now I feel old. It was even longer than I thought. But I dont remember coop being a part of any class before he came in 07. Maybe I forgot that too I suppose.

He was the same thing as Shady - committed in 2006 but didn't qualify

It was funny - had Cooper come in 2006, he would've been a 3 Star out of Tennessee with little expectations (which is what he actually was)

Instead he went to Prep, blew up, and became a 5 Star in 2007 that people were calling "the next Reggie Bush"

Cooper was always a victim of being over-hyped IMO

Mike James, Lamar Miller, Damien Berry, Storm Johnson, and Cooper was the RB core in 2010. How in the **** did that team not do damage? Don’t answer that question lol. Benjamin, Aldarius Johnson, Hankerson, and Laron Byrd at WR to go along with an o line who all has been in the NFL (Henderson and Linder are still in the league).

Because of the OC primarily - which ruined Harris that year - and Jacory Harris playing hurt too much. That 2010 squad was the most talented that Miami would have on paper untIk 2019

The offense threw INT's at a ridiculous rate in 2010. It killed us.

Jacory was a turnover machine most of his career, and Stephen Morris as a Fr. wasn't any better.

2010 - 21 TD's / 27 INT's
2018 - 19 TD's / 14 INT's

As bad as last year was, we threw twice as many INT's in 2010.
